Early Arrival Update
by TrailBlazer04 inwell, the baby isn't coming until tuesday.
unfortunately, i'm stuck here in va because of stupid airline policies that make the charge for changing a ticket look like the national debt.
i'm going to stick with my original flight, so i'll get to see her when she's something like 9 days old.

Early Arrival
by TrailBlazer04 injust wanted to let everyone know that my granddaughter has decided not to wait for her originally scheduled debut.
her debut has been rescheduled for next monday....a little early, but we're hoping all goes well.
whatever positive thoughts, prayers, etc.

Elsewhere, I WILL be discussing plans and timely arrivals with said new arrival when she is here. Her mother already told her that she HAD to wait until her Nona was there, but NOOOOOOOOO, Kira couldn't wait. I would hope that Miss Kira will learn that timeliness is a virtue somewhere down the road. But, it could be worse, her mother kept me waiting for her arrival for over a week from the originally set date (a fact I have NEVER let her forget).
So...now I gotta find out how much more $$$ that darn plane ticket is gonna cost....

Congrats on that new baby girl...but regarding cutness quotient...I BET she isn't as cute as my new granddaughter will be (arriving 10/22)...but I also may be just a bit biased.

It's official!!! I start my new *PERM* job on Oct. 1 2004!!!! :D
by Elsewhere ini have been working at at my current job as a contract worker since feb this year.
for about five years i have been doing contract/consulting work and i've gotten very very tired of the instability, so i started looking for a perm position.. last year, at almost this same time, i got a perm job where my supervisor was a jw... it didn't take very long for me to be "laid off" after he found out i was an ex-jw.
for a few months my supervisor has been talking about hiring me as a perm employee, but nothing was ever certain.

I would not let anyone who wrote like that teach my child. I've requested that my child change teachers after hearing ONE instance of bad grammar from the teacher or ONE misspelled word on a note home....

he will interview the girls and me together, then he will interview sara and the girls together.
it is his recommendation to the judge that will decide the outcome of this custody battle.
