  ....ok...i have been trying to clean my house for the last 4 hours.......i just can't seem to stay away from this darn website....i am afraid my jwd addiction is keeping me from cleaning my house today..... can somebody please help me??????????.

  here's how to fix it.
  
  1) go to vegas for a few days.
  2) when you get back.. get a new video card that supports dual monitor output, get another monitor.. then spend a few days playin with that..

  i have done enough damage here this morning... in a few hrs i get on a plane for las vegas & taking in some sin city!

  pray for me so that i dont loose my soul gambling.... .

  personally, i think most of them are just people seing things that really arnt there.
  
  when you look at a cloud you can sometimes see a bunny. does that make the bunny really there? not hardly its your eye seeing a pattern that your psyche renders as an image thats all.

  Do teenage JW's have a higher suicide rate?

  i read online that teenage jw's have a suicide rate four times higher than the national average.

  i was curious if anybody could refer me to actual statistics that could either confirm or deny that.

  i have a friend who was struggling with suicidal thoughts a few months ago and now her new boyfriend is trying to convert her to be a jw.

  i can only speak from experience, i was one of those at risk type kids growing up. suffered from clinical depression (which is basicly resolved now) and oddly enough it was not untill AFTER i left that the suicidal thoughts came into mind (and were totally unrelated to religion or the strictness thereof). i know of NONE who off'd themselves when i was growing up that were practicing or non practicing members, and the only 2 people that i know who actually did off themselves were drug addicts. take from that what you will. dig long enough for something and eventually you will find information that can be used to support your stand and keep looking at the information long enough and you can find a way to make the same information support the other side.

  just kickin off a thread to announce my arrival. i was raised as a JW and no longer am active (and havent been for several years) and that is my choice. no one forced me out, abused me, brainwashed me, or any of that stuff. as you might be able to tell, from my brief statement, i have a large amount of sarchasm to dish out and my cup runneth over on that one, so ill apologize before hand if down the road i say something that someone doesnt like. (but i wont do it purposefully, thats for sure).
