  Breastfeeding not allowed.

  shocker at the group last week..... i was at the group last week (1st in about 4 weeks) and the conductor (the p.o.

  ) takes a sister aside and tells her that she was not allowed to breastfeed her baby before or after the book study because "someone" found it awkward.. hmm, i wonder if it was him that found it awkward.. anyway the twist in the story is that the group meets at her house.

  the sisters husband was far from happy but is to reserved to do anything about it.

  sounds to me like she wanted them out of there, good way to clear the room!

  what have jws got against beards ?

  and it really used to annoy me that jesus and john the baptist both had such neat and well trimmed beards in the watchtower literature , how unlikley would that be in reality ?

  also they never wore a suit so why do "true christians "have to wear one , is all about appearences by any chance and giving a false impression ?

  its not so much that they dont want brothers to have beards, its the fear that some sisters might take it up!!

  lets face it we have all seen a bit of face fuzz on the ODD sister.... ( any one got a Bic)

  Watchtower Question from readers= Slams hunting??? Why???

  even though the bible does not condemn hunting watch them push their personal opinion and trun it into watchtower law.. watchtower dec 1 2007 p.31 "how should christians view hunting?

  } "the bible does not condemn hunting or fishing.." {great leave it there..no need to push personal thoughts on brothers, right?

  } ".....the apostles who were fisherman were likely gratified by a good catch.

  please have a look at the white horse on page 91 of rev climax book(the horse that jesus is riding).

  this horse is what a horse should look like.

  (don't look at it too long or you may be tempted) now look at the same white horse on page 23 of the feb 15th 2008 wt.

  Disfellowshipped without knowing

  is this allowed?

  i am being ignored by my neighbours and have been gingerly waved to by an elder.

  now i haven't heard anything from anyone but is it possible to be disfellowshipped without my knowing?

  i would say it may because you have not been to the meeting in some time

  you know jws get a 6th sense about theses things.

  i get funny looks in the street from time to time, they just dont want to know if there's a problem.

  in case it puts them in a uncomfortable position, its just there way of puting there heads in the sand..

  did they believe just because jesus said "follow me and you will have everlasting life...and yeah i fullfill everything about he messiah and am prett much speaking for him?

  all in the family is one of the very best series, in my opinion.. when i see re-runs of the andy griffith show, i smile.

  when i was a kid, i never really appreciated don knotts and the gang as much as i do now.. taxi was another favorite.

  whats the hang up wit beards & baptism,??

  i remember just before i was baptized back in the late 80s i had a meeting with 3 elders about it.

  having a bit of a gorge michel going on.. i pointed out the obvious the jesus had one ( & was accepted by god) russel had one ( & was accepted by god) & a brother in the con had one!!

  where dose this dislike come from & has it changed?? after i was baptised i let grow back! but if long hair is the glory of women why is not the beard the glory of man?? ( i can understand some wonabe sister not being let take the plunge if she has a bit of a goaty going on)
