  according to the 2009 edition of the yeabook of american and canadian churches, jehovah's christian witnesses are once again the fastest group in the united states.

  meanwhile the roman cathollic church and the southern baptist convention lost thousands of members.

  while the growht rate of the witnesses was 2.12%, based mainly on those that actively preach the good news, it was the highest growth percentage when compared to other groups.

  hello, i watched a youtube video from a link on here a while back, and i cannot find it again for the life of me.

  i am hoping someone else will remember better than me.. the video was of two guys at a door, talking to another guy.

  the point of the video was humor, about not talking to "john" (or some name), about winning a million dollars if you "leave town".

  hello, i watched a youtube video from a link on here a while back, and i cannot find it again for the life of me.

  i am hoping someone else will remember better than me.. the video was of two guys at a door, talking to another guy.

  Hello, I watched a youtube video from a link on here a while back, and I cannot find it again for the life of me. I am hoping someone else will remember better than me.

  The video was of two guys at a door, talking to another guy. The point of the video was humor, about not talking to "john" (or some name), about winning a million dollars if you "leave town". How if you don't do what "John" wants, he will hurt (or kill) you. It was very funny, and I think true as well. I know this is not much to go on, but can anyone remember?

  I love my Sirius. Although I like to hear Bob and Tom in the morning on Q95 (the local feed has to be the best! ).

  Then its Hot Jamz, Octane, Hits One, Lithium, Raw Dog Comedy, Blue Collar Comedy, Back Spin, Prime Country. Sirius Rocks!

  Mother-in-law said she will not talk to us anymore...... feel the love.

  yes, so my children talking to mom i hear "no we dont go to meetings anymore" and i'm thinking "crap!!".

  so then the phone gets passed to me.. and my husband is of course out of town for this.

  i get asked point blank if we're witnesses anymore.. and i said "no we're not".

  Your post hit home to me. I had no problem letting the kids go see the JW family. Now, after looking at it like you stated in your post, I can see how this sends a message, and not a good one.

  My (12 year old) Daughter really loves her trips to see the family though. They are loaded and she always has a great time. So, I am kind of torn, because while I agree with you, taking her yearly trip away would hurt her. We always take the time to explain our position, and the (junk) reasons why they act the way they do. We have two younger children, whom have not had the experience of the JW side, and we can keep it that way for them.
