some left because they found no real love in the witnesses.

some departed because of certain doctrines that were peculiar only to jws that were weird.

there are a number of reasons for leaving.....my question is, are those reasons still dear to you now?

How much harm have you caused your congregation?

how much harm did you cause to the people in your congregation?

everybody complains how the witnesses did this and that and in the process caused so much harm.

but what you don't say is how much pain you caused others while you were in.

double ditto to xandria and ditto to jez....i too did not leave...i got thrown out because i had friends in 'the world' and none in the organization...for some 'crazy' reason, i could not relate to the non-intellectuals that were in my congregation...go figure...

I hope my leaving, them seeing the injustice of it all and knowing how much I gave to that congregation and getting nothing in return when I needed it the most will help them see the truth.

What Would You Tell a Prospective New Poster About JWD??

i was talking to 2 someday to be ex jws about the forum and they want to join.

i did let them know that not everyone is as sweet as they are.

i mentioned that most here are very nice and that a few have issues.

Then, when they've got all the newbie ex-dub crap out of their system and can relate like real people do, maybe then they'll be equipped to partake in ex JW boards.

may i ask what that means? i'm curious as this board, out of all the ones that i have visited, seems to have more ex-dub topics than the others...it's actually one of the reasons i joined...i like knowing what's going on in the borg...

would you mind explaining?
