  You DON'T Have To Listen To The Elders If They Say They Want To Meet ....

  everyone that is in the process of leaving dreads the thought of having the elders approach them, call them, etc.

  the fact is----just because they say they want to meet with you or just because 2 elders stop by to visit you----you don't have to deal with them at all.

  simply tell them you won't meet with them, you won't talk to them.

  this is a timely reminder min..

  i finally talked someone into coming and getting me to take me to see my kids over the holiday weekend.(havent seen them since spring and i only live 1 1/2 hours away..i have no car anymore) My parents would never tell the elders i was coming in but my sister will. If they call i'll refuse because i'm going to see my children not to be bothered by them. Actually last time the CO was in and they called to show concern update paperwork , i gave them the nearest hall address where i live now for them to send my publisher card. i've never heard from them since nor have i heard from the local kh. So if they get insistant i meet i'll remind them that too my knowlege i 'm not a member of their cong. anymore.

  now i stand to be corrected about this because this is just my own could be wrong opinion.

  in genesis when it says that god made man in his image,,i think it may well have been literally lets make man to looks like us (legs a head feet evrything even the genital thingy).

  now the teaching that it meant let man have intellect and feeling like god(s) (actually it is plural.

  in genisis 11:6 jehovah appears to be worried that mankind will be able to do anything they desire.

  did jehovah scatter men and use different languages as a controlling measure to make us dependent on him?

  i heard a talk once where a brother speculated that they were becoming technologically advanced and Jehovah wanted that to wait till the time of the end..

  this fall we have had some of the brightest red trees i've ever seen in this area.

  the pictures haven't been enhanced electronically and are even more colorfull in the sun.. ken p.
