No they are not. And yes I'm sure they will just say they are vacationing there or some shit. I can't imagine spending a month there being a JW. They have applied to go to Israel many times before for international conventions but didn't get chosen but I guess this time they got approved.

Ahh I think you are correct! Gilead Graduation now rings a bell. After that my cousins are going to Israel for a month to do missionary work. Wonder how that will all go? I can just see them walking around in their suits and dresses not fitting in at all.

Oh yes that's my cousin and his wife for sure! Soooo important and their daughter and son in law get to travel all over supervising building projects and stuff like that from the inner circle. Mostly in Africa but they haven't been there lately. I saw them briefly last weekend at a non witness family event and said they weren't traveling as much which made me wonder too.

The awful treatment of my disfellowshipped cousin still continues
by RULES & REGULATIONS inmy cousin was disfellowshipped twenty years ago when he was 18 years old.
he admitted to the congregation elders that he was fornicating with his ''wordly'' girlfriend.
the elders were following him and hiding in their cars to see what he was up to.

Boy I can relate! I've been DF'd for 40 years and shunned the whole time BUT this past year my uber elder cousin decided it was time for me to help with my aging mother's care and oh now I'm no longer shunned at least for all the heavy lifting part of the stuff like clearing out her house when she moved to a retirement home. Funny how the rules change when they decide it's okay to associate with me. And during this time they were very much in contact blah blah. Now that my mother has passed away of course they no longer need me and the silence has begun again.
Funny how they can decide when it's okay and when it's not. Feel the love!!!

Do Jehovah’s Witnesses Ever Do Anything For Anyone But Themselves?
by minimus ini was thinking of how witnesses were always admonished to take care of their own before they should ever help a worldly neighbor.
i don’t think they ever do anything for the community unless it’s a benefit to them..

My mother always gave $$$ to the WT and no one else but it didn't matter when she needed the congregation's help the most. Yes I was called upon to "help" after 40 years of shunning and was told my uber elder cousin that it wasn't the WT's responsibility to care and help people in the congregation it was the family's! And he had "decided" that now was the time for me to help even though I'm disfellowshipped. Unlike other religions who will help if needed.
She passed away in September and they had the memorial in October and now they are done with me again forever! Feel the love.

Yes it's true they barely do anything for each other. There was no one to help my 86 year old mother who was a devout member and pioneer for 40 years. All of a sudden everyone was too busy going out in service to help with her getting groceries or anything like that. So she had to hire someone to help her that wasn't a witness.

Do You Think Jehovah’s Witnesses Really Believe They Are Living In The Time Of The End?
by minimus ini think they talk a good game and that’s about it..

Funny how my cousins have long term care insurance they pay for every year ($8K per person) but of course they inherited $$ from his non witness father so they extensively remodeled the family home and are living happily ever after. Oh and they bought a new car too and called it their "death car" because they think it will be the last one they buy!
it really does help to be a rich witness instead of a poor one, life is so much better then. We have lots of rich JW's here in Seattle.
