Ex-jw Fifth interviews Bethelite from 1975. Well worth watching!
by Diogenesister inanother great interview by fifth here.
this lady was at bethel in 1975 and reminisces that many women at bethel expressed enormous regret at not having a family.
it seems that many witnesses back then were aware that watchtower really didn't know what they were talking about when it came to making predictions.. https://youtu.be/7dyooih3fji.

I'm enjoying your story also. Sounds like I could have been there about the same time as you. I was there 74-76. I worked in the home also as a plumber in the Home Repair Shop. I gladly left when they told us in 76 we could leave if not happy there. We possibly crossed paths as I did some plumbing work in the Laundry. Ernie Watts

(A Childhood Memory) THE MYSTERY OF THE LOCKED CABINET
by TerryWalstrom inthe mystery of the locked cabinet.
when i was about 10 years old, there was a tall, white handmade cabinet back in one of our storage sheds (a converted chicken house from back in the 30's, when my grandparents raised chickens in the great depression).
affixed to its door, there was a big padlock on the cabinet.

When I was probably younger than your 10 years I found a photo of my grandad and a much younger dad both
dressed in white hooded robes. When I asked about it, they hurried to remove it from my view. They said that it
was supposed to be secret and that they were no longer involved with that. Recently I mentioned this experience
to my younger sister and she seemed surprised and had no idea. Makes one wonder what other things we never
knew about.

Pete Zahut I've only met up with a couple who were at Bethel when I was there. Brent and Bonnie McClean left shortly before I left in 76. They were special pioneers before Bethel. I met up with them in Chattanooga a few years ago when they were on their way to Florida. They left the organization long ago and were happy and successful .Brent was roommates at Bethel with Steve " Just2laws" who use to post here. Steve and his wife Joy were at Bethel when I was there also. Met up with them ounce when I and my son were driving through Florida . I think those are the only ones I've had any contact with in more recent years.
