Blondie, you're right in the early-mid 80's the gatherings stopped by order of the society. After the
letter or suggestion from the society any such gathering could not be announced from the congregations
meetings. Any invitations can only be made on a personal level, therefore there will always be the "one" left out
due to being the one skipped over. For some reason IT cannot be congregation sponsored/setup.
as much as i believe that the witnesses are a "cult", i don't think i'd choose to legally ban them.

In towns where the majority are Witnesses a DF'ing can cause financial difficulties, and a business owner can loose everything!

I've heard some KH in florida have pools in the back, any truth to this?

We have the same brother playing the squezzebox (dont know what its called) and they think IT IS THE SHIT!
one good thing, due to our nationality we bring some wine, and no one says any objections!

We have them in a VFW hall, never the less we cannot go to YMCA or donate to Salvation Army,
but they can pay their rented hall (VFW) and be OK with it!

What a bunch of tules. Two years ago I had 2 over for 2 weeks during their school...
They are nice guys, one the day they arrived or supposed to arrive.... 1did & the other not.
So I took it upon myself to cook them dinner the next day, seems like they had arrangements (guys night out). I got stuck with the food, It that
time I felt sorry for them & gave them $40.00 each for food. If I would not have given them the money, seems like they must of had it
since "guys night out" was all C.O.'s!
