Anybody here every operate a franchise?? Need advice.

full and this place offers much better fare; fresher ingredients and real cuts of meat.. anyway, it looks like the start up costs are around 100,000...has anyone here ever.
do banks lend money for these ventures?

you're probably looking into a 15 year loan.
on top of the $100,000 you're gonna need an extra cushion for payroll and extra inventory

Do you want/expect your kids to take care of you when you're old?
by GoingGoingGone ini had a conversation with my daughter tonight that got me pretty upset, and i'm wondering if i'm expecting too much from my kids.. both my kids went to outstanding colleges, have landed very well-paying jobs, and have very bright financial futures ahead of them.
this makes me especially happy because my husband and i have always had to struggle financially (we both grew up jws and never got to go to college.
) it was a sacrifice for us to send them to college, but i would do it all again in a heartbeat.

I don't expect my children to take care of me, I was brought up in a way that parents sacrifice themselves: because we brought them in the world, and we have the responsibility to take care of them for such.
I have foreign parents that believe the same, my american in-laws are the opposite --> I was willing to pay them (to babysit my kids when toddlers) what daycare charged, but they refused, babysitting? ha, not a chance in hell!
I hope to be strong enough to take care of my children's-children.

Elder's wives
by Zordino ini still go to meetings (sometimes) mostly to acompany my wife and kids.
i have known of jw friends of mine that have gone to elder's for family problems, dispute's with other cult member's or those hemroid's that just won't clear up.
whatever.... i personally never ever told an elder or elder's a stitch of info about my personal life or trouble's etc.

When I was dating my wife (from another congregation), she was chapperoned by a girl who had a black child............. within 2 weeks everyone in my congo though I was marrying a woman with a child.
Seems off topic, but there's obviously a big gossip network.

The other night I was watching the Super Bowl replay with "miked up" live verbal commentary from players during the game.
I noticed to key admissions:
1st Brady aknowledged from the side line that he "tried to throw the ball away"
2nd, there was a key holding penalty against the Giants offense that changed the outcome of a drive, a couple of plays layer Wolfork (defensive lineman for the pats) was asked by the ref if the he was held/spun, Wolford playingly admitted that the ref blew the call.

when my brother said this to me the other day, i tried my hardest to try to explain why the watchtower's polices on sexaul abuse and molestation in the past, and he said that it was the parents fault (not the watchtowers fault) that these children got molested, and that its the parents job to protect the children.
i tried to tell his thick headed, simple minded self that back in the day parents were threated with disfellowshippment and dissassociation if they reported this to the police.
