knowing is good.. not knowing is bad.. knowing that you don't know leads to inquiry, research and education.
that is good.. assuming you know the validity of your research material is bad.. sometimes you are stumped but you don't know that you are stumped.

My kids come home with homework, 1 out 4 times I do not know the answer because it was covered in their material and I was not there!
Should I make something up, or tell them that daddy does not know.......... look it up?

i was thinking about some interracial jw couples that chose each other because they do not have alot of choices like finding someone in their own race in the religion, i have been seeing alot more jw interracial couples lately.
have you noticed them in your area?

the problem about a small dating pool is: people marry too early due to settling (alot of people that are attractive are "taken" early).

with a huge turkey, stuffing, mashed potatoes, gravy, cranberry sauce.
and greenbeen salad, pie and icecream.. yummy!.

I guess these jw family members "were not racist".............. in spiritual paradise "it does not happen"

What I can't understand is: if these homeowners have mortgage companies??? then they ask for insurance $$$$ to be forwarded to them until steps of re-building can be shown.............. then they will forward $$$ to approved contractors?
How is the homeowner coming up with choice of cash distribution?
Are they guilting the people like that husband-wife account in the bible who sold the land and only gave 1/2 to the apostles?

after awhile, they generally gave up trying to make any sense of their doctrines - and coupled with cash flow issues - moved towards a quiet retreat.. take a look at a few things:.

Remember that people running a non-profit can get paid (then those people would be subject to tax).
for example I remember years ago some people making a big stink that the president/ceo of the salvation army was making million dollar salary and flying around in a private jet!
so we see the governing and president being publicized, but who is the CEO, board of directors, COO, etc etc?????

I have always known that I read somewhere that the WT has a board of directors (like a company) and these are NOT the GB.
I have always had a gut feeling that these guys are continuously drawing a nice profit from a non-profit company!
