In the early 90's the WT started to become women friendly. Therefore started twisting the words in the
bible to show how fair those laws were to women! They compared the bible law to those of other nations!
have you ever read in the bible of a hebrew man being sterile?
nope.
it's always the poor ol' lesser, hebrew women who can't have a kid but the men can impregnate just about anything.

granted i havent been to the kh in years.
but when i did several talks dealt with how apostates lie about the wtbs, the apostates make up stuff and attribute the quotes to wtbs.
apostates all have evil intentions of taking god away from you.
For goodness sake: when they give experiences in their publications they say "joann* was a faithful ......"
at the footnote is says: names have been changed.....
They can't even use people names for things they say are correct?
for the last 2 1/2 years of my jw experience, the kh was always saying how they had no money to pay the bills.
they started holding "dollar days" at the meetings to get donations (the idea was everyone brought a dollar a meeting on top of their normal donation).
finances reportedly got so bad that they had to decide to buy oil for the furnace, or plow the driveway one winter.
Ditto here: 100% to 0% are always in favor
Seems like my hall replaced the carpet and chairs that were good. What happened is that the new
carpet was too light and got the sh--t stained out of it in 3 weeks (a sister was an int. decorator and did the whole thing)
My friends cong needed carpet and his witness friend (carpet salesman) was quoting carpet and installation for the company he worked for. Seems like
the elders thought bethellites could do the labor for cheaper........ wrong! they quoted a price higher than the commercial place!
Also, the elders bugged the sh--t out of the company for every nuisance (price, deliery date, scheduing, etc ec), and the Witnesses' boss said he would never deal with them again!

6) we pay a "contribution" to the circuit fund for the overseer's apartment
For example this line expense is not really an expense, but we pay the congregation setting up
his apartment. It's passing from one hand to another, and yet looks like to the congregation
as an expense and reported as so. Therefore people see "we were short $150.00 or xx dollars last month", it
would be nice if our good spirits will see what we can do to make this up!
Inspiration to donate!

Since I do accounting in KH I'll tell you our story:
Every month: We pay
1)Mortgage
2)Gas/Electric
3)Maintenance
4)then we give fixed amount to society as what they call KHAA (kingdom hall assistance arrangement) this pays C.O.'s insurance/car/ and misc stuff
5)we automatically give each month a set amount made by our elders to Worldwide work (on top of what publishers stick in that box)
6) we pay a "contribution" to the circuit fund for the overseer's apartment
7) we give Overseer his expense check
8) we give bethellites that come to our congregation a expense check
9) we give bethellites doing talk in our congr. a fixed amount of $20 per talk
then if our savings go over a certain amount (to be determined by elders) we send to society for safe investing (they tell us we can have back anyyyyyyyyy time)
So, when all is said and done we always have between $2,000 to $4,000 in bank!
...that helped the wt to recover after 1975 failure.
all of us could document the written false prophecies of the wtower, 1799, 1874, 1914 -15-18-19-1935-75.by 2000....etc but how about the unwritten ones?
can you document any?.
The JW's said it showed how God dealt with those who left the WT.The guy picked himself up, and spent the following years rebuilding his buisness. Which became more prosperous than before. What did the JW's say? "See how Satan supports those who leave the WT."
This is the JW sindrome.
My friend that is in his mid 40's has a hard time finding a sister (since there are few, and they're either psychos or picky themselves),
he also lost a good amount of money in stocks. Well the brothers told hime that Satan attacks his people, and he can expect not to succeeed!

Brothers in my area started speculating the end (withing weeks) when they heard the berlin wall fell!
okay... it's been a while since i have had to do any bible thumping... so go easy on me.. genesis 5:27 - "altogether, methuselah lived 969 years, and then he died.".
what happened to him?.
any takers on this one?
Oooooooooh, the "imperfection theory"!
The other day on discovery health channel they said that "man boobs" were
around when the earliest egyptian hyriogliphics were done. I guess the big J
wanted men to look like women back then! Guess what else was around back then?
(Egyptians dying really young) explain that?
my husband and i are coming up on our 7th wedding anniversary.
we were married as jdubs, left together and survived.

Just go to a cozy cabin, and renew your marital dues. Liven the place up with
candles
i read the post where some kid let go of a helium balloon at a convention, and everyone was watching it.
when i used to attend the conventions, i loved distractions.
i always heard multiple "pssst" sounds from people opening cans of cott cola.
Lets see 86 or 87 I was probably in belmont park, ny convention
