Circuit Overseer Celebrities?
by Delboy222 ini am a active jw, but one question i would like to know is why do these 'men' get treated as superstar celebrities when they attend the congregation?.
for as long as i can remember, there seems to be a 'buzz of excitement' when it is announced that he and his wife are due to visit.
what is so special about them?.

During 9/11 at first the Red cross was holding back funds because there were so many charities collecting money. The 9/11 survivors got plenty of cash.
As a result of people donating multi million $$$$$$$ to these other charities, the Red Cross at that time took a financial beating.
I find it useful and fullfilling to donate to the Red Cross and the Salvation Army

Red cross and local church helped me. The WT in my area did not even help Kingdom Halls.
one was closed for quite a while. brothers were attending other KH meetings and it took them months to do repairs

This Sunday I was looking at the KH bulletin board.
Seems like this neighboring congregation has close to 130 publishers. I looked at their meeting attendance and on average it was close to 80 present. Guess what? during the overseer visit the 100% were there during all 5+ meetings
