  Which is your favourite single malt Scotch Whisky, and why?

  as a true scot, i'm deeply passionate about most things scottish, any possibly one of our small nation's most successful export is my main favourite - our single malt whisky heritage.. i'm writing this while savouring a 12 year old highland park - distilled in the orkney islands, the most northerly distillery in scotland.

  it is one of my favourites - it was my late father's favourite tipple.

  yet, only 500m from my house is scotlands oldest legal whisky distillery - glenturret, in crieff.

  Are the Witnesses Really Losing Their Young People?

  that article about jehovah's witnesses having the lowest retention rate for born ins keeps popping up every now again ... i'm just curious if any of you have noticed that this is actually the case.

  in the congregation that i grew up in, i'm going to say that 95% of the young people in their teens to mid twenties are either regular pioneering, regular auxiliary pioneering, serving in foreign language congregations or where the need is greater.

  both of my younger sisters are regular pioneers - and the young people in their hall even organize 8 pm to midnight service on friday nights of their own accord.

  that article about jehovah's witnesses having the lowest retention rate for born ins keeps popping up every now again ... i'm just curious if any of you have noticed that this is actually the case.

  every time the president promises to make rich people pay their fair share............. it's the middle class getting more taxes!

  the same policies that the president says will protect the middle class, in return winds up driving prices of goods up, and thus making it costlier to be at the middle and/or bottom!!!

  california = liberal paradise: democrat heaven

  State income tax: (26-37K=6%, 37-47K=8%, 47-1m=9.3%, 1m and over=10.3%)

  State sales tax: 5.88%, then add city and county sales tax.

  City property tax: california ranks up #12 out 50 states, where the average person pays above $3k annually.

  add gas tax, cigarette tax, hotel tax, resort fees, etc etc etc.............

  give thanks to your liberal paradise with over 60% of your earned $$$$$$ going away!!!!

  btw, republican states still have police, fire, and public workers
