Don Cheadle was great, as always in his role.
I especially liked his line, "So who was it that brought all these unique cultures together, and taught them to park their cars on the lawn?"

I thought it was entertaining, but nowhere near a 'best picture'.
They tried to cram too many characters into it, and they all ended up being very one dimensional. (BTW, wasn't Brendan Fraser a little young to be the district attorney of LA county?)
The writing was also very emotionally manipulative, and by the numbers.
(Incidentally David Cronenbergs' Crash from 1996 is actually a much better movie.)
