  since coming out of the witnesses, i have gone through a transformation in thought and in mind.

  i started with the usual: i thought that jesus was god.

  then i investigated more about the bible and thought that the bible was not true, given the many contradictions, failed prophecies, etc.. then i investigated evolution and read lots and now i accept evolution and natural selection as things that are true.. now, i need to make my dad rethink everything.

  Today I reversed preached to JW's about the scandal in Australia

  so today a friend recommended that i ask the witnesses about the news in australia.

  i am in mexico, in a city called mazatlan.. two weeks ago i talked with some jw's on the cart about the septuagint and the different bible versions.

  so we had had a decently amicable conversation back then (i have never admitted i was a jw).. so today i saw them again, same place, same time.

  this absolutely upsets me!they always keep doing this garbage, putting people into harm's way by not telling them the whole information!and plus, any blood info from australia is likely biased... the two jw's they hired to manage blood transfusions in australia are doing an excellent job at doing propaganda.

  the august 2015 awake continues a cherished watchtower tradition: misquoting / cherry picking scientists.. it is clearly a selective use of information because when you read what they are saying, you know they are saying "life is complex, therefore, god.".

  whereas the scientists, although they show admiration for life and how amazing it is, also recognize that we are getting closer and closer to understanding the origin of life.
