The most frustrating, sad thing in the world

i just learned that an ex-cowoker of mine became engaged to her abusive boyfriend.

she is probably one of the brightest, prettiest people i have ever known--but she doesn't believe that because her boyfriend would rather have her believe she is dumb, ugly and nothing at all without him.

i am so sad for this girl.. she was in college last year and he made her give it up.

A guy? his wife/girlfriend/woman is beating him up? Easy advice KICK HER ASS (just kidding simon just kiddding... maybe)

Unfortunaly it all comes down to her and it sounds like she is going to get herself killed... sad but true and if you did manage to get her away from this guy the next guy she finds will be the same guy with a different face!

I can't advocate anything illegal the easiest thing is if she would just agree to leave.

If this guy is crazy violent then let her come to your house. If he starts to be threatening get a court order stating that he is threatening you as well. Then when he comes up and knocks on the door give him both barrels of double aught straight though the door don't even open it just look out make sure he is centered and pull the trigger... you're safe because with the threatening injunction it's self defense!

This is the reality of our world their are two types humans and vermin. People who go around cutting peoples heads off or beating their woman (or men) to death are vermin. Vermin deserve what they get. Thats reality it sucks but thats the way it is.

You could tell the police on your own tell them the situation and sometimes if you tell the right policeman they are willing to go and "talk" to him.

Hopefully you will read this before simon deletes it...

Found an Awake at the rest stop today..and I knew exactly what to do....

found it at a rest stop today while traveling.

i thought about tossing it, but decided it had a much better purpose.

it was an issue on what to teach your young child - cute picture of a little girl (about 4 years old) on the cover.. so - i took it to my car, got out a pretty purple pen and wrote on the cover "this religion has a major probelm with pedophiles and is hurtful to young children.

umm no I think your wrong, I do think their are PLENTY of people in the Jehovah's Witness organization who did just that... sat down and thought if I molest this kid how can I do it in such a way that I won't get caught... Just like the Catholic church had the inside Track as to priest telling each other when they were about to get caught moving people around to make them hard to catch. One hand does wash the other! Yes there are good (although misguided) people in the borg-org but their are LOTS of baddies too!

In my old hall almost all the elders had some sort of pedophilia in thier past and when it came up (as it did A LOT) they absolutly hid it and whitewashed it I know four elders (including my dad, see previous post) who were so distraut over what they had allowed to go on that they all steped down two of them left the "truth" one commited suicide. Both of the ones who "stayed in" are chronic drunks and have to have counsiling...

Sometimes it is just that the elders are stupid and want two witnesses sometimes the elders are smart and call the cops but it's usually not that it's either cover up entirely and screw the victim or I'll cover yours if you cover mine and maybe later we'll scew the victim TOGETHER! trust me I've been there...

I try to do that at the doctors office they always have watchtowers and awake's there I dont' write that on their (good idea for future reference) but I do go through and underline certain things make notes (try to use as many scriptures as I can) I dont do it for the general public though I do it for the unwary duba who may pick the magazine up and start reading!

As too the molestation issue, I WAS abused I WAS made to feel it was my fault and I was told by several elders (INCLUDING MY OWN F*CKING FATHER) that this had to be handled "in house" so that JEHOVAH'S name wouldn't be subject to reproach in the community. Then the "offender" went on to molest at least 4 other people that I know of and NEVER got in trouble!!!

I had similer experinces with people in the truuf they claimed to have experiences with demons and all sorts of crap several of them who are now out have admited to me that they made this stuff up to get attention...

I work in a prison. Trust me I deal with satanist and witches every day. I've had hexs and curses put on me, hell it happens all the time. I've had voodoo dolls with bits of my hair on them and all that crap. I once bet one of the resident "warlocks" he couldn't start a fire using his mind, he couldn't (I posted something about that on one of these threads) all of this is a wack job. People are just so desperate to not die, to not be done, to pass something on to the "next world." I wish it were true I HOPE it's true. I don't look forward to the long sleep (especialy since I have a dangerous job and lots of fairly dangerous hobbies) but reality MUST intrude at some point Jesus died... He didn't die for your sins he died because he couldn't keep his trap shut. David korsh died... He didn't die for his followers sins he died because he pissed off Janet Reno. All of these guys are dead if you worship animals they die too and SO WILL YOU. I had a discussion with one of the indians in prison one day about his belief in reincarnation he was telling me when he died he was just going to be reborn. I asked him will you remember being bob *(names have been changed to protect the guilty as hell) he said no. So I said if everything that REMEMBERS being Bob is gone all of your thoughs and memories and family and emotions are all gone... isn't Bob dead... So then I got cursed again, no rash but I'll keep checking!

I've had LOTS of discussions with guys getting ready to ride the lightning in old sparky (welcome to florida) they are ALL religious they are all going to LIVE on in some way... well live this life the best you can and hope is all I've got to say!

umm no clinton did a lot worse... how about the time he bombed an asprin factory in Iraq to try to get public attention away from the lewenski scandal? How about the fraud that Hillary commited to make money off drug companies. How about their illegal real estate scams. I'm not saying that he's alone in his corruption by a LONG dang shot but don't play like he was practicaly an innocent....

Ripley's believe it or NOT!?? That show was only REAL about 60% of the time the rest of the time it was a LIE to see if you would believe it or NOT! This one is a NOT!

All unexplanied events can be explained the question is are YOU willing to listen to the explination? This is the question that you have to ask. Is there ANYTHING that you could be shown that would convince you that the paranormal does not exist? If you answer no then you are a fanatic and there is no point in having a discussion. Same question for me only take out the not at the end.

I could be convinced I TRIED to be convinced before I left the witlesses I KNEW how much friction and trouble it was going to cause in my family so I really tried to find ANY evidence of spirit presence or of paranormal goings on ANYWHERE! I figured if I could find ONE THING that couldnt be expained I'd reconsider... couldn't do it no way it's all easy to explain. I have had bizarro things happen to me that dont' make them paranormal....

Yes, and I like to mess with them too because as an Ex-Jw I can do one thing well thats talk bible bullsh*t!

Unfortunatly as my wife likes to point out, I'm an a$$hole (sorry freedom69 guess you don't like me ) but I'm trying to be honest here! I really try not to be sexist or racist or elitist or any other "ist" but I find the older I get the less tolerance I have for what I percieve to be idiocy... And religion takes the cake, not just christians either! Look at Hindus what kind of crack were they smoking when they came up with that! Pagans and Witches too (um no you DON'T have powers your just a fool!) It's ALL foolish it's like a fear of werewolves it just don't make since!

In my job I run up on lots of idiocy. Women who let their boyfriends punch them in the face and don't want to press charges people, who get so stoned and drunk that they can't walk... so they drive! all sorts of stupid crap and I'm afraid that more and more I'm lumping religious people in with the dingus's...

I really do TRY not to be an a$$ I just can't help it!
