Negative; they say don't go to the internet it's all lies but no specifics if they said don't go to this specific website we would all be locked out due to the massive amount of new users... I think about 70 percent of witnesses want out they just do know how to start... It IS a scary step!

Are Dubs warned about JWD at Meetings?
by Low-Key Lysmith ini havn't been to a meeting in years.
i was just wondering if this site is talked about @ meetings, and/or in the publicatons.
i'm sure reproof or disfellowshipping would be instant if a dub was found looking into such "apostacy".

by outbutnotdown inof course, different people enjoy different types of humour, so there will be a wide variety of responses, but if you could mention why you find that person funny, personally, it would be appreciated.. i would have to say that i have to pick two people.
i enjoy having humour displayed in a tasteful manner, but with wit.
a life-lesson taught with a laugh is about as good as it gets, imo, even if i am not capable of accomplishing that very well myself.

1. because i only just now started looking into it and am overwhelmed by all of the info.

),they have discovered all kinds of objects, suggesting that pre-flood people were almost as advanced as modern people.. look at the turin shroud,they certainly have printing?
(or whatever) to produce it!.

I saw a show on some pre-flood tech on the history channel can't remember when was a water clock that was accurate to the second was used to tell when the exact moment the heir to the empire was concieved (talk about a command preformance.... 100,000 people all yelling ready.... set.... NOW) they must have invented pre-flood viagra to make this possible I think people are smart and have been for a long time... but I have yet to see steel girders or plastics unearthed... in 10 million years we will still be able to prove we were here just with dipers and mcdonalds hamburger wrappers...

When does the "anger" subside.....?
by ScoobySnax inhaving never felt "anger" as such toward jws or the organisation myself, it is apparent that many here do.
sometimes just by reading the thread title it is clear in many how they feel, so for more seasoned posters, or maybe those who have been out longer, how long does this anger take to fade, if it ever does.
maybe you never felt like that anyway.

No I think it's exactly the oppisite I think the average Jw is a high school dropout or GED canidate who is (preferably) mentaly ill... Or maybe it's my take on "rich" I think making over 500K is pretty good I know very very few brothers who are in that catagory... now I do know lots of elders and Ms who are in the 90-225k tax bracket... why are they elders and not mister dropped out of high school to clean floors for a living who is still a pub?... well you dont have to be a genius to figure that out! I do know that if mister floor cleaner dropped out of high school to pioneer and clean floors he's probrably a MS or Elder so its simply not a scandle it's just life and life ain't fair whether your religious or not it just ain't fair...

i was at a john denver concert in the uk many years ago, he asked all catholics to stand up, after he got them seated he did the same with church of england, then the same with a couple of other religions, after he asked all jw's to stand up he announced that the concert would not go on untill they had all left and he then left the stage.

Well he was a drunk... But who's not? (just kidding I have about one drink a month) I think he was a very very mean drunk. From what I've read when he was drunk he was mean to everybody... I've also read that he did sing at concerts while... a bit buzzed shall we say! So to go off in a drunken rage at a concert does not seem to out of character to me! J-dubs are all drunks too they should have gotten along famously!
As too a plane crash being to good for him... Well it wouldn't be such a bad way to go I guess! He had been a hardcore alcoholic for many years so he was probrably on his way out anyway! My flight instructor was a FAA crash examiner and he said that in many small plane crashes suicide is suspected. THink about it if you know that your dying get in a small plane, load that bugger up with high-test, get good and ripped and fly straight into a mountain... One thing for sure he didn't suffer! If you shoot yourself you might miss or flinch at the last second and blow both your eyes out but not die (news of the weird about 3 years back) pills you might barf most of them up! Jump from a building may just end up really really f*cked up! Douse yourself with steak sauce and jump into a piranna pool maybe they just bite you in the johnson! Crashing a fully fueled up plane into a mountain at 215 mph is pretty fool proof... I heard they had to Id him from dental records... you ain't pulling through that kind of crash!
