I think for those of us that have family still in the borg that this board or othes like it will become a permenant place to roost. If you have no family still in so there is nothing that forces you to be close to the JW's I think it will be different. I believe that most people will come here to heal, then when the healing is complete they will ween themselves from it.
I think if you don't have any REASON to stay close to the WTBS and for some reason decide to stay on this board for year after year that over time you would just become bitter maybe even obsessed AND bitter read some post from some members and you'll see what I mean!

As too speaking your mind years and years ago while I was still in Watkins glen NY I had some elders approach me in the hall after the Sunday meeting about a incident from an assembly where me and some of my friends had been seen acting in a way "unbecoming witness youths" (they didn't know the half of it... hell not the tenth! lol) but following my usual policy I said "wasn't me, was an evil doppelganger." So then two other elders come up (one of whom was in the "abuse ring" his son was actually abusing lots of the kids in the hall and he himself had been caught hiding in his daughters closet watching his teen daughter undressing, not that anything was done he wasnt' even removed as an elder everyone just sort of laughed it off... not I!) and I said really loud "I'll be glad to talk to you brothers about anything you want but I will not talk to this asshole" then walked away... pin drop silence doesn't even begin to describe it! hahahahahahahaha

It's not so much that this is an "apostate" issue as it is funny as hell! It absolutely deserves a place here on this forum because its "uplifting" to see that the numbers are failing its f#cking AWESOME! DEATH TO THE HARLOT! It also gives those of us who are still forced to occasionally attend one of these conventions a way to use "Civil Disobedience" to protest from now on I'm sittin' front row dead center of the roped of area!!!!!!
The only problem I see is when it becomes only too obvious that the majority are packing their bags that?s when the WTBS will trot out the old "the love of the greater number will cool" so the end must be coming soon those few who are left need to REALLY become fanatics... scary stuff isn't it!
