Could You Post Here Then Return To The KH?

is it possible for someone to post reams of anti-jw stuff at this site, then repent for what they have done and go back to the kingdom hall to become fully-fledged witnesses once more?.

a couple of posters that i have met personally and spent mutually enjoyable exchanges with, have actually disappeared off the face of the earth and covered their tracks behind them.

i'm sure that in at least one instance, the guy has returned to the fold.. maybe it's me that they can't abide and it's nothing to do with jw's!!.

Absolutely I'd bet they would lose 30-50% within a month maybe more. I think that there are plenty of people who go back for lots of reasons. One biggie is how inanly simple it is to have "friends" in the borg... They aren't true friends but they are so easy. All you have to do is show up and you instantly have 100+ friends who will always be there for you... Unless you dont' do exactly as they say 150% of the time... Even if your asleep!

It's also a good way to avoid responsibility you don't have to make decisions about wrong or right just let them do it. I had a good friend who got out, got into drugs and alcohol (and I don't mean in a small way!) woke up in jail a year later having spent almost 100k on drugs having been stabbed arrested for assault and completly blacked out for about 9 months... He remembers NOTHING for the entire summer and I honestly believe him I don't think hes faking that he can't remember it's really gone!

Any way he decided to go back and when I said "dude WTF" he just said "if I stay out I'll never get off drugs (he had tried at that point) and in a few years I'll be dead. If I go back they will make sure I stay off they will guilt trip me and check up on me and thats what I need..." so he went back and I think he's "fairly" clean I think he still does a bit of coke but at least he's not dead...

I think this is a good org for weak minded people...

Signs of Discouragement in the Org.

most witnesses i knew were always positive thinking that the end was just around the corner, and that all your troubles were unimportant because the end was so close.

did you know any jw's or even elders who gave signs of discouragement because nothing was happening like they expected?

I just ask my wife about the generation change and if she remembered anyone really making a big deal out of it here because I didn't... she just started getting pissed again so I dropped it.

She used to manage a witness owned health food store here in Jax and I remember there were lots of elderly sisters who worked there and they all said they would never die. I've never really thought about it but all three died shortly after the "new light" came out so I guess they must have noticed... sad most of them worked right up till weeks before they died if not days. No retirements, no savings... sad

I really think in a case like this the death penalty may be a mercy. If I ever went insane and killed one of my kids or my wife i wouldn't want to be "cured" how could you live with yourself? Shoot me in the head while I'm still in laa laa land I would never ever want to "wake up" to that...

Sad but true, in my biology class we discussed this with plants. There used to be literaly hundreds of sub-species of tomatos and corn now there are dozens or less. Those sub-species are eaten less so they were wiped out to make room for big sellers... Another example is fruits they were so rare as to never be seen in the 40's and 50's then people in San Diego started eating them... now there are fruits everywhere, even on TV...

Free Literature at the Kingdom Hall

i was thinking for all you guys who go the kingdom hall even though you know it's not the truth,, in order to keep from loosing all your friends and family,, why not take advantage of the wt free literature at your kh?

i mean the wt is forcing you to go to meetings with the threat of being outcasted from your family why not put a little dent in their finances but getting all the free literature you can and not contibuting anything for it.

after all the wt is offering it free of charge.

Actually what we should do is encourage everyone we meet to take all the liturature that the Dubs that come to their houses are willing to give them... never talk, never accept a study just take all the lit and ask for more then throw it in the trash.

I'll bet if someone emailed all the babtist churches and catholic etc and told them that if all their members did this then the WTBS would be bankrupt in 5 years then they would all sign on...

I've spent lots of time thinking about this and if every single householder took the liturature but gave no donation the WBTS would either go bankrupt or have to stop distributing liturature... can you imagine the poor 75 yr old sisters having to carry that much liturature? hahahahahahaha
