  Bigger Than A Jumbo.

  the airbus a 380 was unveiled today.. it's a european joint venture.

  the wings, undercarriage and engines are british.

  the uk sections are made locally and should create over 100,000 jobs.

  Lots of people don't know that John Travolta is a commercial pilot!

  They have to sell 200 to break even

  They have orders for 149 already!

  There are a few drawbacks with this plane though... Most airlines in the us have a hard time filling seats on a 747 how the heck are they going to fill the seats on this monster! Runways will have to be extended and widened as well as concrete reinforced to take the weight! Interesting that the western world isn't buying them yet all orders so far are from asian countries! Price is $280 MILLION yikes! I'll take 2! Imagine the horror if one crashes! Or even worse if two hit each other on the runway! A 9/11 scenario is just to horrible to imagine! Of course on 9/11 the hijackers didn't try to get the biggest most crowded planes either so who knows...

  I sure would have loved to fly one of these big bitches tho'

  The continuing saga of being in love with a Witness

  i don't know how many read my prior post "problems with jw girlfriend and her family", but i feel the need to continue the story as it is very current and is taking quite a toll on both of us.

  she and i also work together at a grocery store, so even if she does/did decide to break things off (because of her parents and the religion) we would still see each other (i'll get to this in a minute).

  we both know that we still love each other and that we deserve to be together, but can this religion be stronger than true love?????

  my dive buddy who is a cave instructor is nutting himself over this new mask... i don't know $200 is a lot of money for a mask... i'm going to go and try his sometime but i just don't know any of you other divers tried this one?.

  it's like anything else you can do it cheaply buy inexpensive equipment and do spring diving and lakes and rivers even shore diving if your near the ocean... Or it can be pretty expensive! Technical diving gear drysuits going to the bahamas and off shore to deep dive wrecks and caves... It's a great hobby though I would encourage everyone to do it! I'm hoping to get my instructor cert one day! Not to do it as a living but just as a part time thing...

  i remember elders giving talks and giving good advice they didn't even keep themselves.. saying, don't listen to this or that kind of music, and when they get in their cars, that's exactly what's playing on the radio, or when they said to obey the law and then they go faster than the speed limit and say it's ok, i'm just following the other cars.. do you have any other examples of "do what i say, not what i do" witnesses?

  I didn't see what the problem was, since I would be standing for the part.

  Well he was enjoying looking at your legs while your were sitting! If you stood for 5 min he'd have to pay attention to the meeting! As long as you were sitting he had something else to occupy his mind!

  The president of cong. has invited me to dinner and a little "talk"

  the president of our congregation has invited me and a couple of other young people from the cong.

  to dinner on friday and then to watch the new "youth: how to make good friends" video, and then have a little "talk" about it.. though, im fearing that "talk" is going to be a little bit more serious than just a relaxed night out.. should i go?
