  hello...i'm ginger, lyineyes' (dede) little sister and she is and has always been my everything.

  i respect her and love her more than anything else i've ever known.

  she introduced me to my true love donnie (wanderlustguy) seven years ago, and didn't even didn't know it at the time.

  Kinesiology - what is the current stand? (Any elders?)

  i don't feel like pretending i have genuine concern to go to a local elder and ask ... so i ask you .... what is the deal with kinesiology as far as jws?

  the 94 wt where they talk about it sounds generally like the answer is no.

  everything i read about the origins are traced back to some chiropractor who supposedly had occult origins ... .

  I haven't heard of kinesiology being bad by the society but do remember an article condemning Reiki (spelling) Therapy as being linked with spiritism. But isn't Reiki what the ones who use their hands above a body for healing energy do?

  my daughter lily is 3 years old.

  she is now asking me all the body parts(all of them).

  now i am not one to hold back so i told her what she has and what her little brother has when she asked.. so anyway..... now she sings songs about it.

  When my niece was just about 3 she peeked under the shower curtian at her dad and came running to the kitchen shouting to her mom "Daddy has a tail in front!"

  This makes me angry................

  Why do the good have to die young? This man was a person who loved life and people. He showed passion and was compassionate to his fellow man.

  It should have been some gangsta rapper or a white trash honky tonker who went instead of Luther.

  All we can do now is enjoy the music he made and reminisce!

  He will be sadly missed and has a place right along side of Marvin Gaye.

  Each congregation has a group of older men and when people have domestic problems, financial problems, when people sink into depression, we try to look after them,

  Now this is the biggest crock of kaka I have heard in a long time. The only help ever given from their mindset when you have these problems is to rely more on Jehovah. THAT'S HELP?????????

  I shouldn't have read this thread. Now my very peaceful evening has become an angry one. Boy, I wish some overzealous JW who believes in evening harrassing witnessing, would knock on my door.

  Do they actually believe their own made up fairy tales and lies? Oh yeah.........they do, because I once believed it too!

  Excelent response Barbara........and thank you Randy!

  However, I doubt that Mr. Engardio will edit any of "our" side into the program since it is so near completion. Plus, I imagine that no matter what truth or fallicies are in his program, he will be well compensated for his undertaking.

  We can all just hope that he is a man who might be a lover of truth and follow up on this project with a part B "The Other Side Of The Record".

  Were You Ever Really Happy or Joyful While a Witness?

  i think most jws have never really experienced "real" joy or happiness in the jw environment.

  i don't think programmed mind controlled people can relate to "normal" things that make the average person happy.

  what do you think?

  No, never had real joy and happiness doing JW rituals. The only joy and happiness came from family, work and general life occasions.

  Happy and Joyful coupled with being a JW is an OXYMORON.

  The Blitz,what happen to it?

  remember the days when whole groups went out and did the blitz, six to eight blocks in row , a couple of hours of real time witnessing.

  it was in the seventies.

  we would start one group at one corner and avenue, the other at the opposite end, then meet up in the middle and share the results.

  Wasn't that when we had to distribute the Kingdom something or other pamphlets? I think it started with #1 and was to continue every few month until the great trib. happened.

  is there a list of the names of subsidiaries, partially or wholly owned owned by the wts.

  i have been looking at the list of beneficiaries of the "faith based " outfits that willl benefit from the recent program started by the bush administration.

  i am wondering if the wts is benefiting from this program thru another name.

  I seriously doubt that the WT has "hidden" alias' corporations. Probably the only ones are the ones they have let the "faithful" know about. And all those new corporations are really only to protect their asses assets against law suits.

  Besides, the WT has never done anything charitable for the public as a whole to even quallify for those "Faith Based Initiatives".
