If I get the chance without being found out, I will try to get a picture of it and post it here. They might know someone who can make decals since that is what it most probably is.

i just walked back from getting my mail and happen to walk right by an automobile that belongs to the jw's who live in the end of my building.
the sticker in the low left of the windshield caught my attention so i stopped to read it.
it was a sticker that said......advanced medical directive.....no blood!

In the center was the circle and the line that crossed out a drawing of a blood unit. I didn't read the rest but I'm thinking it said "In Case of Accedent".
Has anyone ever seen these before and is the WTBS giving them to the sheeples?
These people are strange to say the least.....not hardly saying anything to anyone in this complex. But every few weeks they have their FS group gather in the community center on Saturday morning before they go door knocking.
So happy I am out!

its been a long time since i have been this enraged at the evilness and shameless exploitation by the jws.
i just got back from the meeting (dont ask) and sat through the km article laying out plans to mass convert nursing homes all over the world.
i am not going to labor the obvious ethical travesty of this plan but i will say that it constitutes a major public health risk.
Please be more forthcoming about what you heard. You don't explain anything about what this mass converting is about. How can anyone do anything as you suggest if none of us has a clue to what you are referring to?

Huh?
i am not much of a reader as i have two many distractions, but i fancy a challenging read, so please list any book that has changed your entire world view on everything.
i remember as a teenager buying at a yard sale, norman vincent peales " the power of positive thinking" and at the time that had a big impact on me.
but i am a little bit more in to " realistic positive thinking" now..
I'm an avid reader but I must say reading Crisis of Conscience at the time my mind was swirling with doubts is the one book that most influenced me.

ok, the lemonade thread has prompted me to ask does anyone else have any clever and legal ways to pinch pennies, like the guy did with the lemonade?.
.
any other things you have seen?

my congregation got a reminder today to start donating money.
elder said that after the letter on the new donation arrangement was read, the contributions for that fund went from the average (i believe it was $500 or so) to $0.
after that reminder, cash was put into those boxes.
When I first started studying in 1968 and into the next decade or so, all you ever heard was condemnation of other religions because they were always asking for money. Since the WT became a big corporation, they have become just like the other churches if not worse. I have Catholic friends and they say that there are no constant reminders for money. They give freely according to what they personally can do.

i'm not talking about a individual, but a congregation as a whole.. i'm talking about a brother or sister that really hit hard times.. have there ever been an occasion where the brothers (elders).
decided to dip into the kh funds and help one in need????.
example, brother loose his job, get evicted, family of four or.
Not a single person in my over 30 years as an active JW was helped by the congregation. It was always said that family or some social agency had that responsibility.
After I left the JW's and went to several churches, I found that they always helped someone in need. The money came from the church or the Pastor himself.
So where is the true brotherly love? Certainly not with the JWs!
