  they're baaaack!!!

  jws "tabling" at my student center again, first time in over six months.

  i wonder if the fact it's been 15 degrees out had anything to do with it?

  They are as brazen as ever but your letter to the school spells it out very correctly. The school needs to know more about the groups they allow to set up tables. The JW's who are manning the table most likely do not have one single person with a degree beyond high school or business/trade school.

  They really piss me off when they do these things.

  In 1989 my daughter had to turn down a full scholarship because of being a JW and I encouraged her to do so for the main reason of how it would look to the congregation. Thankfully, we are both out and now at the age of 43 and having a great job, she has gone back to college to finish her degree that she started 11 years ago and will go on to get a masters. What a waste of intelligence the young ones in the borg have to throw away!

  Yep! Once the sheeples give tons of money to pay for it with the new arrangement, WT will sell it in ten years to a commercial endeavor. They will combine two KH's on the premise that not enough are attending to warrant two buildings.

  I read the story yesterday and couldn't stop until I was done. It could have been a true story instead of fiction. I saw many parallels to what I saw over 30 years as a JW. Spiritual policemen more interested in condemning a person rather than show love and try to help that person. It truly is a cult.

  JW.ORG sign finally hung on Bonita Springs, FL Kingdom Hall

  driving past the kh in bonita springs quite often, i noticed today that they finally put the blue sign on one of the driveway columns facing the street.

  they've blasted religion for years for the cross or whatever else they display, saying it is idolatry.

  i don't find this sign any different than christian churches displaying the cross or synagogues having the star of david.

  Driving past the KH in Bonita Springs quite often, I noticed today that they finally put the blue sign on one of the driveway columns facing the street. They've blasted religion for years for the cross or whatever else they display, saying it is idolatry.  I don't find this sign any different than christian churches displaying the cross or synagogues having the star of david. 

  The JW's are no different! They are in a trancelike frenzy because they now have something to show or wear as an ID badge. And they are promoting it like nothing else. Maybe they will start saying prayers while gazing at the golden calf. Oops.. (I mean sign)! Whatever happened to them using the Bible? The majority couldn't even have an intelligent conversation with a professed christian with Bible knowledge.

  am i going nuts or am i just pissed off?

  there are so many posters who use abbreviations in their posts and so many of us have been out for years.

  the borg constantly changes everything from beliefs to organizational tactics, so those like me don't have a clue to what you are referring to.

What the hell is LDC? 

  Could you newer posters or those still in be more concise by spelling it out for us "use to bees"?

  Brooklyn Update – January 10, 2015

  we have spent the last few weeks in training at the montgomery facility (near walkill) there are 6 couples that were trained to go on the road as ldc field representatives of the branch.

  First if all, what is LDC? You need to remember that many of us have been out for years and when a poster talks in initials so to speak, it confuses us if not pissing us off. So please.......spell this stuff out.

  It seems like the DC will be nothing more than a circuit assembly with some of the small venues. They're having one at my old assembly hall that I helped build in the 1970's at Coraopolis, PA. I don't remember exactly, but I think it only has about 800 seats.
