The "Regular Pioneer" title has now become a total joke
by pistolpete inwe just had our co visit a few weeks ago.
apparently, he was encouraging all who could to regular pioneer, to at least try it out for a year.
because of this, we had a few people in our hall become one.. so this weekend we were on zoom service, and the sister that was just appointed was talking about it.

How can I view / know how long I have been a member ?
by smiddy3 inhi,simon -mods is there any way i can find out when i joined this forum ?
i believe i have been here about 10 -15 years under the name of smiddy ,smiddy 1 ,or smiddy 2 and as i am now smiddy 3 .. all due to my changing pc`s or forgetting my password or whatever .. i would like to know when i actually first joined up if you can help .. thanks in advance ..

Just click on your user name at the top of the page where the little envelope is. The first thing it says is how long you have been a member. Mine says 17 years.

Trying to update my email address

after entering new email address and hitting the update key i then wait for the confirmation email.
have tried this several times.

Allegheny Pyramid Desecrated
by RolRod insometime within the last 2 weeks, someone took a sledgehammer to the pyramid monument in allegheny.
they stole the topstone, smashed the cross and crown emblem and removed the seal.. personally i'm surprised it lasted this long untouched.
although through the years russell's grave has been vandalized, it was always repaired by the bible students..

The pieces of the pyramid are being stored at the Coraopolis Assembly Hall garage for now. It had deteriorated to the point that there was a possibility of it falling in on itself. If a "person" was near it and injured, there could have been a lawsuit against the WT since they do own the plots there. I don't think the WT would have liked that. Now I'm not saying this to favor or defend the WT society, but it makes common sense to either fix it or remove it. It provided an excellent excuse to get rid of something that sheds unwanted light on their past history. Not much different than removing confederate statues from various states to forget, deny, or rewrite their legacy.

onacruise - Craig Mills 1952-2011
by Lady Lee ini was given the link to a bit of information regarding on old poster/moderator of this forum.
i was not sure of the validity of the information so have been trying to find out if it is true.. earlier today craig's estranged wife, kate, (bikerchic) confirmed that craig died at his home on aug 10, 2011.. i am sure that many people here remember craig's time here and how he went out of his way to offer support to posters, even calling them, to give whatever help he could as they adjusted to their post-jw lives.. i know many people here will grieve his loss.. --------------.
ps i tried posting this earlier but the computer i was working with would not allow the posts.
