well it has been a month since the big apostafest, and i still miss it to this day.

Kentucky is beautiful. I just drove through it on Sunday on my way back home from Texas. Wish I could have stopped at the Corvette museum in Bowling Green..............I saw sooooooo many states last week via the Interstate.........sorta like "white line" fever.

hey my buds................ just wondering about my recent travels........ i flew to fort myers, florida last monday june 21. my daughter lives there...............my son in law has his own moving business.........we left ft. myers wed. morning for pensicola...............unloaded on thursday..........friday drove to dallas via alamama, mississippi, lousiana and texas............was in the dallas suburb of university park............. are any of you in that general area?
then drove to texarkana.......slept overnight.........through arkansas..........tennessee........kentucky..........ohio...........west virginia.........and home to the "ghetto" pittsburgh........... i can't wait until the next long haul moving trip with my s-i l he is the best that ever happened to my daughter..............plus...........he pays this old man very good money for the work done..............lol\.

i used to wonder why with so many xjws on here ,or nearly xjws on this forum ,why it was not named so .
that way we would not have so many troll's and practicing jws come on this site looking for people in their own religion ( cough ) .
now when i see a newbie join and they are practicing jws ,i think maybe just maybe by them not knowing most here are out of the cult and they read the threads posted by so many knowing and knowledgable people on the forum ,that some may log off and actually think of some things that have seen.
It has been a long journey.........but now I am comfortable to tell my side to any current JW......in my old congo or at a knock on my door.....the fear is gone...........don't care what they might do to me...............DF or whatever.........let them be the culprit....but I won't do any footwork for them...........no DA letter ............no confession.............let them create the scenario.................God knows they are trying to get me..................sooooooooo many phone calls without voicemail.........(their phone numbers keep coming up on my caller ID)
If I ever get a notice to sign for a certified letter...........what should I do? Ignore it? Or should I sign for it?
I'm open for advice.
In the meantime.............I am a happy camper and happy with life on lifes terms.......

i've been lurking here for a little while now, and decided to make my presence known.. .
Welcome marked.......................I was a lurker for quite awhile myself until I finally joined this group one month ago.
Since then............I have had a lot of thought provoking conversation with the people on this board and have wished I joined it long long ago. It is a healing process that goes as fast or as slow as you want it to go! You will meet real friends here.........friends that know what you are and have been through!
Belive it or not............this board has changed my life in a profound way. I can actually talk and share my feelings........be they bad or good.......intense or shallow............NO ONE judges you here!
I also have found love on this board...........YES............I met a wonderful lady here...............and I am hoping and praying that it turns out to be true. I never thought it would happen to me again............but it did.............it is real!
If it all goes well..............I will (with the blessing and ok of this wonderful girl) tell of our meeting and falling in love so that others here will have the happiness and hope that I have always wanted.
One happy guy here...................

i just had a discussion with a relative who attended the district convention.
he gave me the booklet, "keep on the watch.
" according to him, the speaker who introduced the booklet talked about the people who were stumbled because of the change in understanding regarding "this generation.
I didn't sell my home or quit my job but was still in such a controlled mindset that "the end was near" that I never saved a penny. That mindset stayed with me until about 8 years ago. Talk about brainwashing!
Too many wasted years but the experience is helping me to have a full and happy life today.

mrs ozzie and i have driven over an area of nsw called the southern highlands today.
WHAT WAS THE HAPPIEST DAY OF MY LIFE?
There have been a lot of "happiest" days over the decades...........but in the "NOW" I would have to say May 27, 2004.........2 days after I joined this board.
Why? Because of a post by myself and another on this board. It led to another post............then a PM or two.........then e-mail................then phone calls.................."MANY PHONE CALLS"....................EVERY DAY.........FOR HOURS EACH EVENING...................SEVERAL HOURS JUST TODAY........IM's in the morning and sometimes during the day........exchanging pictures over the internet.....................learning about each other......................and now an upcoming trip by me to spend some quality time with this most loving and wonderful person I could ever have the privelege of knowing.................REAL and totally UNEXPECTED LOVE??? Time will tell.............all I know is that at 57 and going through life doing my "thing"...........
