  Oh well,

  I followed the instructions BC & LL and after a couple minutes I get an error message. When I tried to post the photo from Photobucket, it just puts the link in my post for you to click on for the photo. I'll try the link that Leolaia sent.

  i've posted a few times about the troubles with my poor mom and the &*!

  @# elders telling her she can't talk to her daughter.

  being that i'm the only family she has here to take care of her.. anyways - i've kept my distance out of respect for her....that is...until a few weeks ago.

  Here's to you Dawn............... for showing Christian love to your Mom. JW's don't have a clue as to what real love is. Glad I'm out too! Did your brother get the message? Or is he too busy knocking on doors to care? Sorry to say that I used to be like him. Once I started my fade, I got real close to my parents a few years before they died. I'm only sorry for the many years I lost with them as a dub.

  Good manners and curse words

  one of the comments i have heard many times is what good manners i display.

  i open doors, allow others to cut in line ahead of me, say please, thank you and may i all the time, stand for a lady and many other simple little and often goofy actions that seem to have been lost on the current generation.

  in fact the thing that attracted my present girlfriend was her observation of my good manners.

  Those &%^$# curse words sound pretty cool when coming from Joe Pesci, the short ^&%$# actor. That @#&%$ George Carlin can get away with it too!

  As for me, in recent months I have really been trying to watch how I word my sentences. I'm trying not to say any &%^&$ curse words if I can help it. All of a sudden I have started hearing how bad it sounds coming from others and don't want to sound like them.

  Once You Start Getting Embarrassed That People Know You're A JW It's 2 Late

  for many new witnesses, there was a certain pride associated with being "a jehovah's witness".

  they loved telling people they couldn't salute the flag, vote, take blood, have a hangover, have oral sex....you get the idea.

  once it dawns on jws how dumb and ridicouolus they sound, it's the beginning of the end.

  I always felt embarrassed from day 1 until I faded 30 some years later. Now I am not embarrassed at all telling everyone that I "once" was a JW and finally learned I was deceived.

  It is so much easier talking about what I was.... than when I had to say that I am a JW (then...not now). <-------- did this make any sense?
