Oh-oh.........another one of those subliminal WT picture within a picture visual.
This one will probably make it to the web site with all the WT drawings that are supposed to be something else.

Kill them with kindness?, and ?The best revenge is a life well lived?.
WOW Winston, that was great how you handled a sticky situation. Very tactful on your part and the "bro" seems to be a real person aside from the rules he has to abide by. Who knows? As time goes on and you have job contact with him, he might open up more.
Glad to hear that you love your new job. You are one of the lucky ones!
Enjoy life,

a hard question...must consult a few philosophers before being able to formulate an answer.. no, wait!!!
i have the answer.
kate, i luv ya and all that---but, now, kindly step aside and recognize universally acknowledged and incontrovertibly demonstrable laws of conduct: the man owns the remote..
Hi Craig and Kate.
How are you guys doing (other that having remote fights)?
I like what Elsewhere said:
HappyDadDude, just get another remote and give her the original... minus the batteries.
This way she can push all the buttons on the remote until her heart's content.
if you guys are witness.
did any of you bother to find out if bethel approved this website????????.
if you have looked on some of these topics to choose from you would know that witness are neutral on topics on political debts.
UMMMMMMMMMMMMM....................duh!

PS..........Hello Brother/Sister Doe. Guess what? I am was an elder (Then I learned the real "truth") and have given this site the seal of approval.
.
for the first time since 1983 no one in my family is going at all, but i was wondering where everybody is having theirs?
I'm going to the upcoming NRA convention this spring. I attended the one here in Pittsburgh last spring and it was wonderful.
The right to keep and bear arms was something I always had feelings for.........even when I was an elder.
Just didn't think a lot of what I was told to give up when I was a JW was right.
HappyDad (of the want to hang Michael Moore of the "Bowling for Columbine" class)
ok, i've been staring at post after post for hours, done weeks of digging on the web, without speaking to a soul.
i figure everyone had to start somewhere, so i just decided to throw it out.. i only recently came out of my "lockdown" phase (where you don't even speak about your feelings about "the truth") and have just started looking around.
i know you guys can see my profile, etc, but i had to post this and just ask for some direction.
Welcome to the board ddean,
You will find a lot of great people here and also a lot of answers for questions you have. There are a lot of similar experiences that most of us have gone through.
One of the things you said hit me as something I also went through.
and I began to notice no one really ever checked on me.
You will find that there is more love and friendship with people who are not jw's once you start meeting them. They are not the ogre's that we were told they were.
So sit back and get to know yourself and others and enjoy the ride of your life.

well yesterday i saw the surgeon, with regards to my left hip and because it is so advanced with osteoarthritis and is crumbling the doctor says my surgical date is march the 3rd.
he said also he may have a cancellation for feburary and i may be able to have that day.
of march.
Hey OFC,
Not to worry!
My mother had full hip replacement at age 58 with a transfusion. (she was df'd in 1973 for smoking and stayed that way) and was able to walk around fine for the rest of her life. I will be thinking about you and sending good vibes your way.

i'm wondering what the funniest thing you ever saw at the memorial was?.
for me it was when one of the mentally ill ladies in the congregation came to the kh with the back of her dress cut out because she said she was telling the demons to kiss her butt.. she walked right up to the front row, past everyone and sat down.. there were brothers running to block everyones view but it was quite clear that she was not even wearing undies.. this particular sister was always talking about the demons.
It wasn't at the memorial, but in our old very small kh that had the restrooms in the basement someone didn't make it in time and threw up all over the steps going down there. Not a minute later, a young "brother" (I hate that term) was heading down to the restroom and very loudly said WHO PUKED?
Everyone including the "brother" on the platform just started laughing. That is about the funniest thing I can remember about my dub days.

what food places would you reccomend?
if im in a new town, i like going to eat at places that locals go to that most like likely are not in all the tourists guides, if possible.
if you were to come to my town, i'd probably take you to eat at dick's drive in (best burgers imo) and if you were in the mood for something fancy, maybe el gauchos (best steakhouse imo) and terrific atmosphere... how bout you?
In Pittsburgh for a very casual lunch I'd take you to Primanti Brothers for one of the wildest cheese steak sandwiches in the US.
For formal I'd take you to the LeMont on Mount Washington on the opposite side of the river about 300 feet overlooking the city.

we took her to the dr. on the 20 and again on the 21st as she had kept nothing down for 3 days.

My hopes, thoughts and prayers are with you guys.
