so when i thought about it, i imagine everyone on this site is white, does everyone who is black imagine everyone else is black, and anyone oriental imagine everyone else is oriental.
After 18 years in the truth, I feel at last I`m able to have a sense of humour and really say what I feel to my family but I think it will take me a while to feel FREE and have free speech to anyone other than my family so in the meantime I apologise to anyone I offend

I didnt mean to just include black and white I should of said.........etc but as for the oriental phrase I apologise for any offence but where i come from it usually refers to Chinese and Japanes etc and nobody there takes offence infact thats how they discribe themselves with pride.

Even on the phone you discriminate against people who have an accent that makes them sound thick even if they have a degree. But my main point is not racism but what goes on in our heads
i believe i finally found the perfect venue for me to picket, duluth ga, which is just outside of atlanta.the conventions there are the 2nd and 3rd weekend in august.
i know absolutley no one in georgia and there are no chances i could run into any family members there.
there are a couple of conventions before then in s.c. and johnson city tennessee, however for various reasons-monetary and otherwise i am choosing georgia.
on august 1, roy milton, author of truth or consequences, is due to speak at vineyard christian fellowship in downey, california.
he was a jw for some 30 years and this book tells about his journey in and out of the religion.
anyone living in that area interested in his story might like to attend and offer moral support.
I`ve heard his story on line it was very interesting, as was many others but this has lead me think are there any exJws who became born again and then became ex bornagain on this site (if you follow) i m really interested. Oh and what are you now.
i have just returned from spending a week in the company of frenchbabyface, (fbf) and would like to share some basic observation that i feel will enlighten my fellow countrymen and women about a people we, as a culture, actually know very little about.
i do believe the medias of both countries do not show their people an honest and forthright view of the other countries people.
the american media gives us almost no news of france and most of what we do get is not very positive.

today i called someone i've known for many, many years, since i was about 5 years old (dim will know who -- josephine), to see how she was doing.
when i was little i was in awe of her and thought she was the most fashionable person i knew.
her parents were old school witnesses who thought nothing of taking the train to new york to argue a point of doctrine with freddie and nathan.

I lived in fear of the big "A" before i came in the truth(I was brought up on till i was 7) and i new albout 1975 my mother had a nervous breakdown. So when I was 24 I joined. I never really questioned anything (shame on me) I was just relived my 2 babies were safe. But now I would rather live with the fear of the future, not so much armageddon I don´t know I that will ever go, but life in general. The numbness i have felt over these last years. Any disaster or war I felt numb.I thought its all going to end soon anyway And because I knew i wasnt good enough I was going to die too. I have no control over the future I have to just live now and with the decisions that "I" make I want to feel and think ever though it may be painful.
