  i received an email a while back with a long list of statements like:.

  if you have never owned a two-door car you might be a jw.

  i thought that might make for a fun topic but i suppose that has been done here before.. .

  Your told not to judge or gossip, and you do anyway............

  All this about a 4 door car, its never been a big thing in the UK, is it just you americans that had that problem, cos if it is we wernt unified !!!!!!!!!!!

  I saw a link on another site which told you the DATE you were going to die, I didnt go there. One girl said shed done it a year ago and couldnt get the date out of her mind she was now having nightmares !!!

  It varied from 81 to 91 depending on how many veggies and drinks i admt to having.

  Girls.............do you wiggle when you walk?

  i feel really embarrassed when i walk my dog down the street, as i know i wiggle but cant help it.

  it really seems to have gone out of fashion, a while a go ( ok years ago) when i was young every young girl tried to wiggle when she walked but now they dont know the word!!!

  they just seem to show off their bellies and forget the rear!.

  so there.. i have been smoking on and off since about 1999, and i'm tired of it.

  it's time to quit for good.. i will be revisiting this thread before i go to bed tonight, and i will at that time be able to post that i made it through the day without a single puff of tobacco smoke.

  When I was giving up, I remember crying and saying to my husband "will i ever wake up in the morning not wanting a smoke ?" Guess what I do, and it feels great, it took a long long time, but the craving goes away completly, in fact its hard to remember what it was like to want one so bad.

  The feeling of pride and well being over comes the need to smoke, especially as you get older and you realize you CANT smoke and be healthy

  i have read your posts and am suprised, shocked and disgusted at the fact you still are an active witness who goes to the meetings 70% of the time and at the same time go to apostefests and curse and talk bad about the truth.

  dont you know that the bible said people like you would quietly slip in the congregation and subvert the faith of some?

  I really thought I was doing what God wanted, then I bought a living bible and just read it from start to finish, I can tell you, if you havent already got one, thats its really easy to read. It started to open my eyes about things that are written in the bible and the tone in which it is written also. Its so much different to the way the WT portrays some scriptures.

  I read other versions now also, includeing the NWT.
