this is just my opinion, but i watched his performance last night, and cringed while he sang off key this was the first time i'd heard him perform, and about all he could do in key was scream.
guess that just isn't my thing.
i'll take the original recording artist any time.
THE PROBLEM WITH KID ROCK IS:
Basicaly, we're exporting white trash all over the world by selling his records. No wonder the French hate us.
He is one ugly mother.
Again, we are promoting white trash as if it's something to be proud of when kid rock is allowed to make records. I'm "strait out the trailer" too, and let me tell you, let's not promote is if it's some kind of cultural ideal.
I don't even want to talk about his singing.
as a kid i would try to pay attention, but i just couldn't hang in there.

i had a special costume that was partially made of "flubber" that would allow me to bounce all over the auditorium.
I often dreamed of how cool it would be if someone came running in with an automatic weapon of some kind, killing the speaker and all those bastards who got to sit up close to him.
But what i really liked to do was fantasize about all the girls around. There were so many hotties!
I was messed up.

I'd like to say thanks to all those who "apostates" who bothered to do that. I'm sure it helped some people. I remember my brother wanting to go talk to one of them. They offered him a place to stay and an opportunity to get out of a "cult". I remember my JW instincts kicking in and physically removing him from them and taking him inside the convention in a headlock.

I'm not saying OIL didn't play an important role in why we went to Iraq. But honestly, if that's what we were after, why didn't we just get it while we there in 1991. We had ALL the excuses in the world.
I'm guessing OIL was a big part of it. But ridding the world of Saddam is a positive no matter how you slice it. It paves the way for what was once the Arab worlds most prosperous/secratist state to be great again, and stable. If we can defeat the insurgents, the region will be much better off.

I think it was more of a strategic decision based on making absolutely sure there were no WMD in the hands of Saddam post 9/11, and that by ridding the region of that man the whole of the middle east could begin a process of transoformation into a more stable, democratic one.
Saddam didn't contribute to the peace or stability of the region whatsoever. Up until 1995 weapon's inspectors were still finding stockpiles of WMD.
Everybody's favorite president CLINTON (of all people) launched cruise missile strikes against Saddam! Apparently even he thought saddam was hiding something.
All circumstancial evidence pointed to Saddam having WMD. Seriously. Saddam bluffed, apparently thinking he needed the "street cred" of having WMD to survive in power a little while longer. THis gave him stature in the middle east, but put him at odds with the hawks in washington, giving them more ammo for going to war.
Getting rid of Saddam and stabalizing Iraq will only bring good to the Iraqi people. The people in Iraq right now fighting us are the same people who executed millions of their own people for years. Let's not feel sorry for these people. The Iraqis are caught in the middle unfortunately, but i doubt any of them will miss the death squads.

I voted for bush in 2000, because let's face it, Al Gore is an annoying son of a bitch. I like Dubya for the fact he kills bad guys, which some people (like democrats) are too impotent to do. Clinton's attempt at squashing terror got us 9/11, so in a sense, it's good to have a President who's willing to push the button.
The bad side to Dubya is there is no finesse. He can hardly speak coherently. Therein lies his major problem as president, which in turns does more harm then good.
I would vote Democrat this year if there is any kind of combination of a Wes Clark/Howard Dean combination. I think the two of these guys could take care of business. Let Wes handle military foreign affairs and let Dean do the national stuff.
Wes has to be part of the equation, i don't think Dean has the stones to handle terrorisism/middle eastern affairs.
so i admitted it, i'd vote democrat. I'm affiliated with neither political party, all i care about is who's up to the job.
