  Hard to get over: No New System

  i have to tell you something.. i really find it hard getting over the idea of no new system and all that it meant to me.

  to be with my children and their children forever in perfect health.. too many days it just leaves me empty.

  i just wish i could shake it and enjoy life, but the idea that we just live for 70 years and die kills me.

  Hello all.May I just say that after reading everyone's comments, you are not such a bunch of unbelievers at all!! In fact, if you would try to look at it this way, it was NOT Jehovahs Witnesses who made up the idea of a new world at all. It was in fact JEHOVAH GOD himself, via most all of His scribes, writers, prophets, and his own Son Jesus Christ.

  So if anyone is to be 'wrong' about a new system, it is the entire Bible itself and the Creator himself, and if you think about it, it is a big call to tell God he doesn't know what he is doing, in fact telling God he doesn't exist, as some have done on this forum. If JW's have been wrong, it has been their keenness to see God's will done,, sorry I should not have said 'if'....the WT Society has been wrong in its dates understanding, But IF there is to be a 'new system', and IF Jehovah God will make it happen, and IF it is to be a period when mankind is 'ruining the earth' to such an extent that 'no flesh would be saved'.......IF such is true, surely we all should keep faith in Jehovah God and His Word....'put not your trust in princes, nor in the son of man'.....true?

  It would be nice if nobody called me horrible words, as horrible words come from horrible minds...

  just my thoughts.

  kls, your remarks are really quite unnecessary, even though you have every right to speak up. I did not perceive that we should only respect those who deserve to be respected, as if we are the judge and jury of whom we should be nice to, and if they don't meet out standards or our judgment, we have a right to be disrespectful. Sorry, can't ever agree to that idea. May be typical 'dog eat dog' attitude, but is that the best any of us can do? And by the way, why suggest I have not 'been in your shoes', or are not in fact 'in your shows now'? , case rested, i just felt that you mostly cheered on a young person 'standing up' to a brother/elder who knew how much his mum is hurting because of his attitude, would't you try to kindly be of help ? gdt.

  "do good to those persecuting you'; 'love your enemies'; 'do not go on reviling';' return evil for evil to no man'; 'vengeance is mine, I will repay.'......who said that? Sorry guys, I cannot accept that there is any justification for vilifying people, but just my opinion.....major wars are only a continuation of minor 'word wars' and hardly Christ-like. but then not everybody agrees with that do they. trying to be nice kind and humble to all men/women is not a sign of weakness. I just believe no matter what that especially applying those principles in our attitude to our mother is the right thing to do. cheers,gdt

  Bethany, thank you for the nice words and manner expressed, you may be 100% correct that this young one should not have been engaged in conversation, I sort of read it that a wall was up and no matter what was said or how kind it was said, still drew a strongly sarcastic response...and someone was really worrying about mum.

  I was waiting for someone to encourage this young man/woman to avoid arrogance and smart-alec remarks to anyone, not just those older, and especially a mother, and to suggest that bitterness and resentment are hardly qualities a mature person would display. Alas, no such support for the principle of being 'obedient to parents' (in or out of the 'truth') . I can't help but wonder what this young person would do if their mum died today? Is it not possible to have someone support being decent as a human and not so awful as if that is a goal? How spiteful and horrible can everyone be? gdt an oldie.(and elder ages ago ) gdt.

  i filed a lawsuit today against the wts for wrongfull death of my daughter bethany.

  i had a press conference and all the media was present.

  i will be interviewed later today on two radio talk shows.

  My condolences to both the mother and father of this young woman, dreadful.

  Secondly, why don't all those making judgments listen long enough to get the full story instead of just blasting away? Example.....the Google list of articles on this subject made mention that :
  'theyoung girl was given 38 transfusions and 4 chemo sessions, and died 2 months later.

  She was made a 'ward of the state', the province taking custody.

  She had a psychiatrist and 5 pediatricians give her their acknowledgement tbat she was mentally capable.

  The Cross Cancer Institute is also being sued and their doctors.

  Yet, you all make out as if you are 'judge and jury'. Why not take note of what many of the articles said, namely: 'the allegations are yet to be proven in court.'. Is truth of no value here?
