  Conditional love dilema....need advice

  one of my daughters has been dating a guy for about two years now.

  they are starting to talk about marriage, but ran into a "snag" involving his family from his previous marriage, which may disolve the whole relationship.

  Awww, thanks, Heartbreaker.

  I actually got choked up writing that, myself. I want so much to see my two daughters have a happy life, with the right man. I'm sure you all have the same feeling about your kids.

  Free load of Watchtower books (tons!), must pick up

  i've been thinking about getting rid of these books for a long time.

  i have bound volumes starting with 1950s up through the early 2000's (not complete, but probably about 35-40 volumes).

  i also have about 50-70+ books, including some from the 1950's (let god be true & others).

  Try checking out used book stores. Sometimes you can find the old books in those. You probably won't find old Watchtower or Awakes, but you can find the old books lots of times, and pretty cheap, too. Check out Salvation Army Stores, too. I found some in those also.

  UPDATE....GOOD NEWS!

  I just got word from my j.w. daughter that my other daughter and her boyfriend made up.

  Perhaps he talked with his kids and explained the problem that was arising, and they agreed to help him fix it.

  I feel I should mention that he lost his first wife with cancer 3 years ago, and he has two of his grown kids living at home.

  By the way, my J.W. daughter really likes him a lot also, but she just figured that it wouldn't work out, but sometimes, just getting things out in the open and wanting your Dad to have a happy life might get them to discuss the problems and find answers without scrapping the whole thing. I hope that is what's happening.

  I always feel bad when I read stories about suicides.

  With that in mind, I wonder if there is more to this story than meets the eye?

  Like.....DF'd for drinking and making sure she died near the Hall that df'd her?

  I'm just wondering.

  this is probably old news but i just opened up rutherfords book delieverance printed in 1926. the year before i was born....in the preface he explains.

  that the logos & lucifer are brothers,.

  on page 214 talking about false prophets ( churches) he says "claiming for themselves the exclusive.

  Thanks for that info, Grace. I have that book! I picked it up a couple years ago at a used book store, and knew it had to have some value.

  This is Gold, Mouthy.

  I also have the "LIFE", and "CHILDREN" books, also. Do you know of any delicious hypocritical paragraphs in any of those too? I don't feel like reading them totally.

  Do You Believe The USA Will Have Another 9/11???

  we were very lucky not to have another airplane blow up this past christmas.. do you think we will see this country under a systematic attack in the near future?.

  In case you are not sure, Hitler was a "terrorist".

  Neville Chamberland negotiated peace with Hitler, and came back to Britain with a piece of paper, signed by Hitler...."Peace at last, peace at last".

  Days later, Hitler invaded Poland.

  The letter of peace was big enough to wipe Chamberland's butt, and that's all it was ever good for.

  Thanks for all your advice.

  I was curious to see what others would do in this situation. I notice a few scenarios.

  What I will most likely do is...if this happens, I will ask my non-wj daughter if she has any objections to me hanging out with her ex, as some of you suggested, but I will wait awhile to let things cool down, first.

  I really hope they can resolve their differences, as I love them both, but my allegiance of course would be to my daughter.

  Thanks for all the advice, and I'd be interested to hear what more people here have to say on this subject.
