12If JW's were to set another "Armaggeddon" date , what would it be? 2030? _?
by booker-t ini was talking to my jw friend the other day and he was telling me that armaggeddon is right around the corner because of all the things going on in iraq and that he feels that pres.bush fits into bible prophecy because he feels that 666 equals george herbert bush.
i fell on the floor laughing because my friend was serious about it.
i said i know the watchtower is not teaching that bologna and he said no they were not but this is his own interpretation.

Kristi may not make it through surgery.
by Frannie Banannie ini just got the news a little while ago.
kristi, the ms patient i've been taking care of went to the er this morning with a perforated colon and peritonitis....her bp was waaaay down and the docs have her in surgery right now, but they've told her parents it doesn't look good for kristi to make it thru this.. i was with her yesterday.
she had started the morning throwing up and her mom was there because kristi was impacted and she was trying to remedy the situation.

2034... Something to do with Noah and the flood..... Something about 120 years... I forgot what it was, but it comes down to we are at 90 years, and 30 more makes 120 which is 2,034. Daaah !!
Maybe someone else can explain it better.

by unbeliever inthere is this other message board i look at that has some good resources that helps me with my work.
it has absolutely nothing to do with religion.

Looks like these people are catching on to what the W.T. is all about.
Unfortunately, most people are not knowledgeable about the Watchtower and Jehovah's Witnesses, and many say, "Well, at least it's a religion"... NOT.
But, that's what they really think. They don't have a clue as to what's happening to the people in it.

i am currently writing a psych paper, and i decided my topic is going to be jw's and the higher percentage of mental illness in the organization( in not so many words) i have been doing hella research in medical journals, and i would like to pose a request to anyone out there that has information on this subject to pm me or attach it to your response.
i would really appreciate it, and btw, if would be even better if this was from a peer-reviewed journal, because i have already searched all the sites and got the research from freeminds, watchtowerobserver, and sites such as this.

I'm worried about our 8-year-old -- anybody got any ideas?
by cruzanheart inour 8-year-old son, jackson, is exhibiting the following symptoms:.
* disorganized (unfortunately, this has kind of been since birth but more pronounced now).
* hard to concentrate.

(Keep in mind, I'm no expert).
Sounds like he is a bit nervous, and is trying to please everyone, especially his teachers.
My grandaughter had a problem in second grade with her new teacher, last year. I'm not blaming the teacher. She was tougher on her, and she wasn't used to being treated that way. So, she would panic, if she forgot to bring her homework home, etc.
Maybe your boys medication for his asthma is creating some side effects, concerning his attention span.
Hope this helps. It may not be any of these things, but it's something to look check for.

we were tired of lying to these otherwise nice people, not to mention disinfecting the car of all "worldly" paraphenalia, and fearing the inevitable "pop-in" visit while holiday decorations are up.
she felt bad about it, and so did i. but now it's over.
