  on projo.com there's an update on utopian reformists' (mario)'s ex-wife, who was declared mentally insane and committed to a mental facility as she was unfit to stand trial by reason of insanity.

  she had set fire to her home, and tried to kill her two daughters in that fire, succeeding in one being lost.. i will try to put the link or page in this post.

  if not, perhaps someone who is better at this than i am, could post the link for the older members to see, who knew of this story.

  I'm going to throw some ribs on the grill for thhe wife, today. (Mothers day). "One of her daughters called and wished her a Happy Mothers Day, so she is (half) happy.

  I'll make it up to her with a nice cookout, and scallops wrapped in bacon. Yummy !!!

  i studied with this guy for years.

  he believed it was the "truth" although a few things weren't right with him.

  he asked me how business, family, being an elder was and he was flabbergasted when i told him i was divorced and had left the religion.

  Thanks, aSphere.

  It looks like she got off her meds and screwed up, so it's a good thing in a way. I certainly wouldn't want to visit someone in a group home and find her there. She is very dangerous, and needs to stay locked up. It's much safer for everyone involved. She can't be trusted.

  I don't know how to put Mario's first post link on this tragedy here, so I'll say if any newbie wants to read about this from the beginning, look up "Utopian Reformist" in the members list, and on page two you'll see the first post.

  I will try to put the link or page in this post. If not, perhaps someone who is better at this than I am, could post the link for the older members to see, who knew of this story. This happened in 2004, so many of you won't know about this. It was the greatest tragedy on this forum at the time.

  Mario was/is a member here, and hasn't posted in a couple of years. He took it very hard, and with the help of many here, was able to get through this tragedy.

  Mario, if you still lurk here now and then, remember that we haven't forgotten you. Our prayers and good vibes are with you always. We hope you are well, and doing okay.

  a jehovah witness man, kwabena afum and his wife, margret afum aka abena oduma, have had a brush with the law after creating an unnecessary chaotic scene at new edubiase government hospital in a bid to prevent medical officers from giving blood to their son.. .

  kwabena afum was arrested last week tuesday and granted a police enquiry bail the next day for causing panic and chaos by allegedly mobilizing some members of his church to foment trouble at the hospital.. .

  he has since disowned five-year-old jepheth asamoah, who is currently in the custody of the social welfare department in the district, even after his release.. .

  Did anyone here read the "Comments" section in that newspaper?

  Some say on the line of...."Well, that's Africa, and they have little regards for human life, even children. When one dies, they just have another to replace it.

  What a disgusting way to think! Just because it is "The Norm" to accept this way of life in Africa, does it condone the Watchtower Society to be even more irresponsible with their interpretation of doctrine? Are these people (j.w.'s, probably), saying it's okay to disown your child for "HAVING" a blood transfusion, because "That is the norm" for your child to die, in this part of the country?

  This is just horrible. This child had no say as to whether he may have a blood transfusion or not, and he is DISOWNED at 5 years old, because he received one? Give me a break. This is totally wrong. One of the comments in that newspaper stated that the DOCTORS were wrong to administer a blood transfusion to this 5 year old child. I say the FATHER is wrong to disown his child, and he should be made aware of it, and he should be held responsible for his actions.
