FSM is a false religion and we know it because they have contorted the holy praying word: "Taa-Men". Prayers in FSM are ended with the blasphemous form "Ramen" rather than Taa-Men. In doing so they followed the example of the Christendom, whose members in turn have blasphemously twisted this praying word to "Amen".

that image is merely a representation of Her Pinkness and should not in any way be taken as a True Likeness. As the Grand High Llama Rich Daniel has proclaimed "Dear Heretic, Only the faithful can see Her. 'Nuff said"
Only a fool would assume that IPU can be represented in an image like the one posted by tetra. As her very name suggests IPU is invisible. Those who questionon the IPU's overwhelming existence should consider the fact that the wind is invisible and yet we can feel how it operates on us. Similarily, IPU can influence our lives if we really, honestly and wholeheartedly accept her invisible presence. This is one of the key aspects of our belief in IPU which will be carefully considered in the following articles:
Accepting IPU's existence really, honestly and wholeheartedly
Making IPU's heart rejoice in our daily lives
Wearing pink robes of invisibility in the wicked world as the day of judgment approaches
Yeah, I think if we spent a few million dollars on marketing the ontological status of IPU, we'd kick Jehoovah's ass.

Could You Stay Friends With Someone Who Visited Prostitutes?
by Englishman ina while back, an aquaintance of mine told me that he liked to visit prostitutes.
although we weren't that close, i'd worked on and off with him over the years.
i knew his wife too and would often see her around town.. he'd told me that when he had something to celebrate, like his birthday or maybe a commercial win, he and a pal of his would do the pubs and clubs first and then go kerb crawling until they found a pair of street girls who would play the swopsy's scene.

I'd feel really sick with this guy and his wife visiting me and him acting like a good husband.

ShiningOne,
Are you so interested in smearing scripture (getting 'back' at God) that you let your bitterness color your commentary?
And how did Terry's post "smear" the scripture? All he wrote was that different religions have different versions of the ten commandments. Can you please address that point specifically instead of resorting to silly generalisations?
classicist,
BTW, I don't care about the history of the Catholic church, but I can tell you something about the actual feelings of the catholics I've met. I live in a 95% Catholic country. When I was a JW and I showed how the Catholic version is out of keeping with the biblical warning against making idols they were usually shocked. Especially when they saw how the last commandment was split into 2 to round up to 10. When you come to Poland and see the Catholic idol worship you can understand that. LOL. So when you make this comment:Catholics consider that a violation of the first commandment; the Second Council of Nicaea assigned to sacred images the same veneration given to the Book of the Gospels, which is different from the adoration warned against in the first commandment.
The question remains: Why did the Catholic church feel the need to adjust this commandment? Isn't it just another example of religious double-speak which helps them to get away with the obvious idolatory at Catholic sanctuaries?

Another completely mindless and useless peace of crappy pseudo-advice for the mentally-retarded.
I don't know about the US, but here in Europe it's really hard to find a kid who doesn't have a cell phone, so whatever advice the article contains it's like trying to reverse the river with a stick. Who is this article for anyway?
Reading Awake is surely the equivalent of a college education.

Could you imagine Jesus dressed in a suit like a JW going door to door?
by JH in.
that's not the mental image i have of jesus.
i don't think that jesus pested people, and i don't think he had to be dressed better or differently from those he preached to.. .

Yes, Mary. A modern day witness Jesus would be instantly df'ed for questioning the authority of the FDS.
