  a lot of people are worrying about these uprisings, riots and violence being done----it seems everywhere.

  i've read how some feel that europe does not have the ability as a union to fight against this.

  is this like it was in germany prior to ww!!

  Hey, maybe it's that English is not my first language, but a few months ago I would have laughed seeing a news headline like the ones below (all of them original from CNN/BBC):
  
  "Cartoon protesters try to storm U.S. base"
  "Deadly cartoon riot near U.S. base"
  "Four die in Afghan cartoon riot"
  
  US soldiers fighting off "Cartoon protesters", WTF? You mean Micky Mouse is givin' them some real trouble? Deadly cartoon riots? Excuse me? It all sounds so surreal.
  
  I'm telling ya the cartoon war is coming. Islamist protesters and those who manipulate them have been waiting for an excuse. Now they have it. A holy war over 12 cartoons.

  The fact is that these cartoons were printed last October (in the context within which you mean by free press) and no-one seemed to notice. It was only when they were reprinted across several European countries that all this kicked off. I call that stupidity on the part of some newspapers. And I guess the fact that we are seeing newspaper editors resign over it proves my point.

  Perhaps it was a convenient way for the Egyptian government to demonstrate some Islamic credentials while not attacking any of the countries which really matter to Egypt.

  True, but I guess what makes the difference is the proportion of the followers of a given holy book who take it at its face value. And to what extent these books affect their political systems.

  in syria, protesters have now burned the norwegian and danish embassys to the ground.

  the latest news is that they are rioting in copenhagen, denmark, where 200 moslems have stormed the sentral station (the railwaystation), and throwing bricks and rocks.

  You're right vomit. "The Truth" is one of the most powerful WTS doctrinal keywords triggering a desired behavioral response in the average JW. "The Truth" is like an Euclidian axiom in geometry. Don't question it or get yourself ridiculed. It takes a Lobaczewski of Jw-ism to break free from these fossilized patterns.
  
  Other ideologically marked items of the JW lexicon include: demons, apostates, Jehovah, Organization. And they're not just useful jargon. They are the core pillars of the WTS discourse. Uttering them brings up conceptual maps from which there is no escape for the average dubby.

  can someone direct me to scriptures in the bible that show that adam and eve will not be ressurrected.

  i ask because my wife, who is a jw insists that this is bible base, yet she cannot provide me any scriptures.
