1. jws seriously believe in 2370 bc as the date of the flood
2. they also believe that by the 1st century ad racial differences had been well developed (i mean differences in the outward appearance of course, and not their early racist views for instance).

"have the commitment and means to conduct effective information programmes about un activities by publishing newsletters, bulletins, and pamphlets; organizing conferences, seminars and round tables; and enlisting the cooperation of the media".

by Pole ini've just noticed how the wts put two phoney "interpretations" of "strangers"tm derived from john 10:5 - next to each other in the same article in watchtower september 1, 2004, probably hoping that the average jw will merge them together and treat apostasy as something as disgusting as paedophilia.

WTS hypocrisy? What exactly do you mean?
by Pole infrom what i've noticed so far, an awful lot of posts on this board deal with watchtower hypocrisy which has been manifest both in their doctrines and in their double-dealing with many issues.. a few all-time classics would include:.
1) secret association with the un.
2) 1975 / generation 1914 doctrine changes.

Why TYPE B prophecies make no sense to me
by Pole inlet's say there are two types of prophecies :) .
type a: god says: everything's gonna be allright.
these are irrelevant to my point here.. type b: god says: a certain man will commit a certain sin (on a certain date) and i will have to put him to death because he will choose to sin.. 1) the latter type of prophecies presuppose that the future can be predicted.. 2) now, if the future is predictable then it's predestined.

How to account for the disappearing of the faithful slave class?
by Pole inthe wts managed to smoothly get out of the expectations they raised in connection with the generation 1914 'prophecy'.
i can't remember any jehovah's witnesses complaining about it - not here in poland at least.
they definitely scored a point here in their game of indoctrination.. however they still have a pretty obvious doctrinal problem.
