happy birthday, min79!
you're letter is nice. too nice ;-) remember: you owe them nothing. but they do owe you a lot of your time, spent volunteering for a publishing company.
if you feel you have to close that part of your life, write that letter. but don't think you have to! it would probably be easier to just fade away. of course this is up to you and both options have their pros and cons.

Why do we expexct Jehovah to be nice to people?
by Gill inwho said god had to be nice to anyone?
i was just reading gumby's thread on 'a big old lie' he'd found in the bible.. as far as i got reading, folks were discussing jehovah killing everyone most of the time and i suppose threatening to do again in the future, according to the wtbts.
but why do we expect god to be nice to people?

hi faraon,
you are right, it doesn't say it was satan. sometimes christian/jw tradition is hard to overcome.
the snake was right then, but still god was wrong. -

linux and java are great, but he's an M$ affiliate, remember. they would disfellowship him for apostasy.
go the .NET course. M$ doesnt even provide a framework for their own old products while java does, but .NET will be around for a long time. btw: there are some a GNU approaches to .NET too - dotgnu and mono. goals are binary compatibility of .NET compilations for win32, unix and linux derivates, mac and what not.

jehovah's organization and dual fulfillment prophecy
by jaredg inmy dad disaggress and backs it up by saying that god has always had an organization or his righteous people on earth.
it used to be isreal but when jesus came he changed that and established a new convenant/congregation.
he then goes on about matt.

that's easy...
just ask him who was the FDS in 1800. or in 700 AD. and if he really comes up with some strange group, ask him, why aren't they the FDS anymore.
btw: it's a parable, not a prophecy. and the parable also states, that the slave could be found faithful or not. so in case someone somewhen was the FDS, he might not be anymore.
