Update On Husband Troubles

since i burdened you all with my marriage problems earlier, i thought it'd be only fair that i should give you all an update of how things are going.

i feel that my husband and i love eachother very much, but he's so conflicted and divided because his loyalty towards the wtbts is so strong.. we reconciled, cried a lot and had a heart-to-heart talk, long and elaborate.

let all our thoughts and frustrations out in the open.

Non JW woman met JW man--confused & have questions

ok. i have some questions, and thought this may be a place to get some answers.. i'm going to be honest here, so please don't bash me too much, as i was never a jw.. in july i was out at a drinking establishment in my home town.

my husband and i have been having marital trouble, and we were trying a trial seperation.

guys were hitting on me left and right--which i had absolutely no interest in.

if you two had sex and he let you go down on him then he either is not a very active JW or he is no longer a JW. you should ask him what his standing is and what he plans on doing in the future...i.e. does he plan on getting reinstated or in good standing in the cong.

and guys don't tell her to RUUUUNNNNNNN just yet. he may come around. lord knows if my GF would have read this site a year ago we would not be together today

those people over at paradise cafe need to face the music and stop acting like such victims. they haven't had control over their own lives for so long that they have forgotten how to do so. it really is very sad.

my mother just told me that my brother was told by his elders that because he attended my daughter's wedding, he was not going to be allowed any privileges, including "handling the microphones".

my elder friend that also went to the wedding told me he was being deleted too.

my wife and i are having discussions with our bible study daughter lately, and she is getting together at our house with our other daughter who is not involved with j.w.

's, tonight.

she says she wants to see all of us, and have pizza together for supper.

hubert i'm sorry to hear of your struggle and even more so that i don't have any advice. but i am a bit lost on your situation and need a little clarification. did your daughter meet jws and start a study and is intersted in getting bapatised but you and the rest of your family are trying to stop her? is this the gist? if so know that whoever is studying with your daughter is preparing her for attacks "from satan" and when the jw person says that they mean YOU!! so watch out and be careful....the jws will encourage your daughter to rebel against her family.

i haven't had any shunning experiences...the only jws that i see are family and other that i knew in the congo but were weak. but i haven't talked to my sister in a few weeks so this thread reminded me that i need to call her.
