one of my favorite movies is love actually.
i have seen this many times.
although, i don't think i have seen it all the way through in one setting.
I've been a big fan of romantic comedies since (at least) "The Princess Bride." I certainly love "You've Got Mail," and "While You Were Sleeping" too. But when I saw "Love Actually," I proclaimed it the finest romantic comedy of all time. Yes, I loved the proposal scene, but I also loved the airport scene in which the little boy (fueled by love) zips through security and races to the girl to tell her how he feels about her and get a kiss.
i don't think we've had one for a while, i can't find the last one anyway!
so just to satisfy my curiosity it would be great to see some of your photos, of you, your family even your pets (they're family too!
) then i'll know if any of you do look like your avatars cos that's what i'm always wondering!
Awww, Leo... I had a voice talent agent that used to tell me the same thing. Maybe there's still time?
Newscaster? That's exactly what Mom wanted me to be. I suppose the need to be a freewheeling entrepreneur didn't allow for it.

Ms. McDuckett,
My avatar is a representation of one of my favorite artists, Dave Matthews of Dave Matthews Band. And it wasn't actually my office; just that of the photographer who was taking my pictures today.

Okay, I've never done this before--chiefly because I've never had nothing to post. But I needed some shots taken for a couple of websites, so here they are. I'm wondering which ones look best to you. If you had to pick three and leave out three, which would they be?
Thanks in advance,

any help would be most appreciated.
These may not be exactly what you're looking for, but some may be helpful...

“The first essential for study is the right condition of mind and heart, appreciating that Jehovah grants understanding only to the meek, and not to the stiff-necked. If we have love for Jehovah and for the organization of his people we shall not be suspicious, but shall, as the Bible says, 'believe all things,' all the things that The Watchtower brings out…” [Qualified, 1955, page 156]

“Unlike the clergy class, those of the Jeremiah class have been sent by Jehovah to speak in his name.” [Watchtower, Sept. 1, 1979, p. 29, underlining added]
“So Jehovah’s visible organization came off victorious once again to his vindication. For dedicated, baptized persons to share in that victory, what did it take? Faith in Jehovah’s theocratic organization.” [Watchtower, March 1, 1979, page 18, underlining added]
“How is such independent thinking manifested? A common way is by questioning the counsel that is provided by God’s visible organization.” [Watchtower, January 15, 1983, p. 22]

guys;.
i normally come on here, and am strong and very vocal in me distain for the borg and all the things it entailed.
just feeling a bit sad for myself tonight and wanted to tell my friends.. my birthday was yesterday.
I'm so sorry, Shell. Take comfort in knowing that more and more JWs are "figuring it out," and that this is especially true among the younger generation. I'd suggest not doing anything (in addition to separating yourself from the religion) that might alienate you from your family.

"if a man is offered a fact which goes against his instincts, he will scrutinize it closely, and unless the evidence is overwhelming, he will refuse to believe it.
if, on the other hand, he is offered something which affords a reason for acting in accordance to his instincts, he will accept it even on the slightest evidence.
