  why is life so complicated at times?

  i thought i had it all sorted out...friends, kissing friends, non friends, etc.

  Hehe, no, my mum and family isn't Zeeuws. There is no excuse for their peculiar behaviour towards kids.

  Hehe, I just remember another one. My mum used to do my hair. Plain torture,she would brush rather vividly, pulling out half the amount of hair I had. And than.... she would brush it into the most horrible model you can imagine. Add to that, self made clothes, pink colors, and all together it's a miracle I turned out to be so normal.

  Why is life so complicated at times? I thought I had it all sorted out...friends, kissing friends, non friends, etc. People should stick with the label I give them damnit. People are not supposted to change from a normal friend into a kissing friend. My life is getting far to complicated and confusing this way.

  this is my wife, daughter and son-in-law.

  we were at the beach in beaufort nc.

  i love to visit this place, it's an old waterfront town, with many of the houses built in the 1700s.

  hi everyone,.

  i just want to say that i am amazed at the wealth of knowledge on this site..i went to the meetings for about 25 yrs and i didnt know a lot of the stuff that you all mention on this site.........i just want to say well done to all those people that do know what they do.............for instance, i never ever knew about the questions changing for the baptism, i got dunked in 1979....and havent been going to the meetings for the last 10 yrs...

  Don't worry, I got a "normal"childhood, and got tricked into becomming a JW at the age of 17. Now that I am out and free, and a bit older, I simply returned to being 17. I'm mentally stuck at that age. And what fun it is too

  Oh, and when I was a kid, I didn't get to wear jeans either. My mum hated them,

  You're not the only one.

  Just recently I got the chance to talk with my former "mother in the truth". I told her the Society does not only meddle in religion, but also in things like what to do with your free time. With a topic posted on this board in my mind, I told her that Awakes even frown upon playing chess, and other sports. And imho that was ridiculous. She told me in a reprimanding voice that i had been studying the wrong [read apostate] things. So I felt rather gleeful in telling her it was an Awake that had told me this. Ah well....
