  What am I feeling for her?

  this is going to be a little rambling but i hope it makes sense.

  i won't use names out of privacy concerns, but it's as true as i can make it.. where i work, i've begun developing very strong feelings for a co-worker.

  her shift and mine overlap for a few hours each day, and i see her when one of her duties brings her to my area of the plant (otherwise we work in separate areas).

  Well, I would agree with some of the other folks here. Talk with her, get to know her. But don't expect anything in return, and see how see reacts. She is in a difficult situation herself. She is married, possibly to a violent guy, and she is probably stressed out because of this. So she won't need you asking things from her. But I think she would be quite happy with the change to talk with a friend.
  This will need time. She needs to sort things out for herself. And you are going to have to be patient.

  i havn't been to a meeting in years, but i can still remember when we had to vote on something, it was always 100% for or 100% against.

  didn't it bother you to see how everyone looked around to see if someone dared to vote against the general trend?

  Yes, I remember one congress in 1998 [i think at leat it was that year]. There was a vote, and everyone jumped up and said "yes". They didntt even sit down quietly and thought about what they were agreeing to. [me included].

  why is life so complicated at times?

  i thought i had it all sorted out...friends, kissing friends, non friends, etc.

  people should stick with the label i give them damnit.. .
