I'm with you bubbamar. I have sooo many questions. But I mean I would think that people like Moses, Abraham, and other holy holy ones would definitely be in a much closer relationship with GOD then any of the "anointed" ones from C.T. Russell onward. I mean in the bible God himself said, well I'm not quite positive about it, but wasn't Abraham God's friend so wouldnt people like him be in heaven. I don't think that makes alot of sense. People before Christ's death were in a more perfect state than people from Russell onward so why would God choose people that were more imperfect to be in heaven with him than people he actually spoke to himself(Moses) I mean he even let Moses see him (his glory/backside). I'm sorry I just don't understand and I'm getting more and more frustrated because of other things going concerning JW's, such as people trying to force me back into it and making me feel guilty for not wanting to go back. (see thread I NEED ADVICE!!!) I'm almost at the point of just giving up and going back for the hell of it to shut them the hell up and then just go inactive after reinstatement if they do reinstate me.

Once Anointed, Always Anointed?
by Sweetp0985 inmaybe this is a questions i should be asking a active jw but they wouldnt like my question after their answer.
because i was reading an article that was talking about jesus came in 1918 or something to that matter, so more cockamamy s**t. but how do they feel about if an "anointed" person turns away from jehovah are they still considered anointed?
like for instance someone has been partaking of the emblems and for some weird reason they get df'd or just decide to stop taking the emblems.

So Justin are you saying that nobody before the pouring out of the holy spirit at pentecost is anointed? Moses, Abraham, etc. those are not considered anointed?

Maybe this is a questions I should be asking a active JW but they wouldnt like my question after their answer. What is their take on this? Because I was reading an article that was talking about Jesus came in 1918 or something to that matter, so more cockamamy s**t. But how do they feel about if an "anointed" person turns away from Jehovah are they still considered anointed? Like for instance someone has been partaking of the emblems and for some weird reason they get df'd or just decide to stop taking the emblems. Are they still anointed? Since I do know they feel all the disciples were anointed, was Judas Ischariot still anointed at the time of his death because he was sorry for what he did? I know it's a weird question, but alot of times I fell weird myself.

I had some knock on my door at my new apartment and hoping they would write it on their little sheet to not return I told them I was disfellowshipped. Guess what, they came back again, I didn't even bother to open the door that time. But since I've found this website and have so many questions, I just might try to entertain them for a few minutes unless they recognize me. I was well known during my stint as a JW due to my "upper class" JW parents. They were in "the club".

Thanks for the responses. I went to this other website the Meetup one and it seemed like I was the only on here. Thanks for the welcome. Since I've found this website, I have been feeling alot better about my decision not to go back to hell oops I mean the KH.

for a long time i could not look at it without feeling guilty, then a couple of times i looked at with contempt.... after awhile it mysteriously ended up in the dumpster including... the books, tracts, wt's, awakes, and return visits slips that was in it.. where is your bookbag right now?.

To be honest, I don't have the darndest idea whatever happened to that thing. Hmmmm....I still have the bible though. I use it to compare their bible to others to see just how much they have changed the wording to fit them....You'd be surprised.

I don't recall what book or magazine I was reading recently but it was telling about all the ways a person can leave "donations/contibutions" to JW's when they die. I will look for it when I get home today because I just read this the other night and was quite sickened. They were even telling how you can avoid and also claim a deduction on taxes by giving it to them. They even went as far as when you right out your will you can leave monetary contributions for the WWW. I think they even said something about donating jewelry too but make sure when you send it to NY you have a note written with it saying it was a "GIFT"....I agree with Been There and his statement that costly funerals are taking away from the contributions that could be going to NY. Bunch of crooks.
