I confessed...they had been trying to get in contact with me for the longest...and finally one day i was like...man f**k it....had the lil committee meeting....they tried to make me feel bad...but in that point in time...i really didn't care....told them do what they had to do...which was df me....never looked back...had a guilty feeling every now and then..but never tried to get reinstated...and after finding this board and a few others...i'm never going back!!!

Were you caught, did you confess, or did you run?
by sass_my_frass inhi, fyi: d'f'd a month ago, and glad you're all here.
i'm just assessing the sum of the madness that happened since my parents guilt-tripped me into confessing what got me disfellowshipped.
i do very sharply recall that at the moment i decided to do so i had an overwhelming feeling of relief which at the time i thought was me hating the lying about what i'd done and wanting to come clean about that and clear my conscience as a witness, but have since thought might have been me hating the lying about how i feel about the organisation and wanting to come clean about that as a human, ie, whether i'd turned the corner as a witness or i was glad to be getting away from it.

What would your special powers be?
by dh inif you had a choice of any special power what would it be...?
(only allowed one)

I would love to have the power to read peoples mind.
I can be sorta naive at times, thinking past what a person is actually doing, and just focusing on what they're saying, and many times actions speak much louder than words...but I would just like to know what people are really thinking....
And since we could only pick one special power I guess I would have everything I wanted wrapped in one if I just had the special power of being a vampire....is that a special power???

I agree with everything everyone has said thus far...and especially about the police and manpower put into searching for her.....that was alot of money paid for by who??? US the loyal taxpayers....
Another thing...having been a part of quite a few weddings myself...even tho I'm quite sure they're all relieved that the lady is ok....if i was one of the bridesmaids or groomsmen....i'd be kinda a little pissed too having put out money for things that being that the wedding was supposed to be THIS weekend, I'm sure they had fully paid for dresses and tuxes already....and not to mention all the money paid for family and friends to travel from whereever they traveled from....
Just too many people were affected by this little stunt. I personally had already put the blame on poor fiance'. But, I was wrong. I guess she had watched Runaway Bride too many times...but at least Julia waited until she was actually at the wedding....hmmm but would that be worse or better???
Just my lil 2 cents

Your BEST excuse for missing a meeting?

i always tried to get sick...and even though it played dual roles...i hated when my cycle came on..but it always gave me a excuse to miss meetings because miracously i'd get the worst cramps ever right before the meeting.

i get to read all the vampire books i wouldn't have really thought about reading back then....but i remember i once got in trouble for reading flowers in the attic.....i don't remember what the reason was but had something to do with i could have been reading a magazine instead of reading that book.

by Kenneson inhe's german.
hasn't been a pope from germany since the 11th century.
he was a very close friend of pope john paul ii and is expected to carry on along where the other pope left off.

she is very easy on the ears and is my "audible-heaven" right now.. so who's voice makes you 'melt' ?

Of course Alicia Keys for me, and then Shania Twain ..From This Moment and Still the One are my favs....and even tho he's not much to look at, his songs and how his voice is just mellowsme out all the time....Anthony Hamilton
