okay, was there really nothing resembling christianity before christ established christianity and the ideas behind that?
i mean, a lot of what the principles of christianity contain seem to be very common sense, such as loving neighbor, not stealing, don't covet neighbor's wife, etc.
do you really think the concept of christianity was so ground breaking when it did occur?

however, despite the often even greater complexity of biologiocal systems* we are often told that only unintelligent processes can be considered as "scientific explanations" for the origin of these structures.
The Human Eye is an example of a tinkerer playing around over time and innocent of physics and engineering.
Since creationists say God designed it I can only say he is an unintelligent designer.
Nobody has ever seen God make an animal out of the dust either, so the argument bites back.

I have seen vicious toddlers bashing other toddlers. I know the parents, these uninhibited demons have never even been given a gentle tap on the behind.
It is strange that some of the most violent societies are actually ones where young children grow up knowing that inflicting pain and injury on others does not immediately result in the same happening to them.

As for creating an immediate inhibition of life threatening behavior (running across a busy street when alone) "If you ever do that I'll spank you so hard." works better than any account of what might happen. Any parent knows that in a young person's mind, they always think accidents and death happen to others. They however, will be careful.
