Not apart from my ongoing work which is a jw to english dictionary. I just keep a record of that for later publishing because I don't speak jw very much or widely at all.

Question from a newbie
by scorpionking inhello everybody.... i was disfellowshipped about 8 years ago at the age of 19.i was raised in the truth by my mother.my father was a non-believer.i willfully left of my own free will.to this day i still believe it's the truth.i've got a question for all you doubters...if the wts was truly in it just for the money,then why the hell would they be so strict?
?if they wanted millions upon millions of members,then why not loosen up the requirements a little?
?why not allow gays like other churches?to me,the fact that the organization is growing with requirements as strict as they are says something.and about the child abuse issue...remember ancient israel had some pretty corrupt priests and leaders but jehovah still claimed them as his people.just because the elders fuck up doesn't mean the whole organization is bad,right?anyway if you ask me i place the blame on the abused kids' parents and the elders.why the hell didn't the parents go to the police?fuck the elders.i'll tell you what...if i was in the truth again and a witness touched my 5 year old daughter the last place i would go would be to the elders.i'd be headed straight for my gun cabinet or the police.any thoughtful answers would be appreciated.

Now you'll see harvest angels everywhere - the poor and needy - sorting out the sheep from the goats - blessed, broken and handed out for your sake.
Those angels that Lot took care of, do the dubs think they were 'fine' sorts? - or the type of people who truly say, "no, we'll sleep in the street". "only do nothing to these men, since this is the reason they have come under the shadow of my roof" - i.e. so they may be looked after.
Interesting term that "look after" one - so I may fix things behind them? So I may see them again? Must look into it.

There's that "worship" word again. For jws I think they use it in place of 'bow down' or 'show reverence' or generally some 'kiss ass' sort of meaning.
I'd love to go to church in shorts, bare foot, even dirty from doing stuff, as long as I didn't make a mess or smell. In fact, I do go in shorts, jeans, thongs, t-shirts, whatever I please, and so do most of the others - and I'm glad to say that it's not a kh or other such fundy affair as would shun me for it.
Personally, I'm put of by 'fine' clothes disguising people's true identity. It's difficult to see it all as down to earth (humble). Dressing "up" is exactly what it is. "he who exalts himself will be humbled, but he who humbles himself will be exalted"

why do people discriminate against people that have different color skin?
i understand it is a learned response, but my "elder" father is very racist... and this is how i was raised.. i don't get it.

I did listen for a while, but then it got jammed. Very interesting point and tactic that they use in that "you can live forever in paradise" book.
- Look at all this paradise you can have if you are one of us.
- Your relatives and friends will be the ones who are against you being one of us.
- (Of course your loving relatives and friends are against your being lied to and misled).
- See, we told you so. See how it is that God is with us and how truthful we are.
- This is now a great test for you, from God, which you must pass, then you'll be ok.
- Come with us, don't worry now and learn more - look at these paradise pictures again.
- See how stupid and evil your relatives must be - to try and stop you having paradise.
They've got to be fuckin kidding - i.e. I'm sure they're attempting to fornicate, making baby goats.

Abortion VS Child Molestation

It sounds like a pretty stupid thing to say, and I should add that G. Pell isn't noted for smooth elocution - it's not the first time he's been displayed like that. Nevertheless, what was the context?, was he questioned or did he just come out with some sin comparisons to deviate the conversation?
It sounds like a stupid thing to say, as both sins are repugnant and both have varying degrees of rejection of God. In the context of "sin in society", I suppose that abortion is a worse problem, in the sense that it's "normal" to accept it, whereas opinion about child abuse is hardly divided.
I suppose you could say that the most complete type of rejection is a blasphemous denial of sin even being wrong.

These are classic quotes about jw thinking. I took particular note of this bit.
Therefore, if a Christian discovers that blood components are listed on the label of a container of dog food or some other animal food, he could not conscientiously feed that product to any animal over which he has jurisdiction. He could not conclude that doing so would be excusable, for this would not be a case of an animal killing another animal and helping itself to the blood of that creature. No, this would be a direct act on the part of the Christian, making him responsible for feeding blood to a pet or other animal belonging to him...
