i have the nasb and nwt.
sometimes the they did not say the same thing.
Nasb, Kjv, Niv, Nwt? I have the Nasb and Nwt. Sometimes the they did not say the same thing. Does the NWt have a doctine promoting slant added to it? Or does the NASB influenced by Babylon the great?
I guess my big question is the NWT say exercising faith in John 3:16, but the NASB says believe. But a JW will say the NASB is wrong. How do you argue that point about different bible versions with them?
since iam a new member of this board, ive got some questions maybe someone can point me to the answer.. 1. is it stated anywhere in the bible that you cant marry/date a non-jw?.
2. does the bible state that you have to go door to door and be at "x" number of meetings?.
3. why do most jws not know there history?

i was halfassed raised in the truth in the Aberdeen.
then I left for about 8 years and moved to Oregon State university. I moved back to Aberdeen, then I was introduced to a wonderful girl and have been seeing her for many months now. She is a total JW. Elders, MS, etc. I love her but somethings are just a damn burden. We feel totally devoted....but is there anyway possible this can work in the long run?
I have read a lot on this site and on freeminds.org. Everytime I ask a question about the history of the organization, I get told about Able being the first witness, etc. there seems to be a disconnect that this is a organization that had a starting point.
