  The goodbye I got from a Witness "friend"

  so i decided to look up an old witness friend on facebook.

  he accepted my friend request but a few hours later he sent me this message:.

  it seems to me that things with you have simply gone further astray.

  Sorry about that, also it another instance where they practice what I call "light switch love", true love cant be swithed off and on at will.

  Everything this scripture says appeals for repentence, not judgement. The scripture is applied to the man of God, that he MAY be competent and complete. That word MAY has alwayss been used as a potential and not an aboslute.

  Its always painfull to lose old friends, especially those who would lay down thier lives for you, spiritual brothers, this is a sign that Jehovahs Holy Spirit is not on the WTs slave, faithful or not.

  When you remove your nose from the "assholes" the smell does go away.

  Humm, it never ceases to amaze me how they mouth the words but do not get the sense of what they are saying:

  It seems to me that things with you have simply gone further astray. I can't claim to understand the process which has produced this, except that it is one in which I want no part. While you continue to find more and more reasons to nitpick against the faithful slave and their interpretations, I have continued to find more and more reasons to see and trust Jehovah's holy spirit operating with them. I imagine that any full disclosure on your part to a local body of elders might result in your disfellowshipping, or in you disassociating yourself from the Christian congregation. I consider you divisive and a special threat to my spiritual clarity. Think this is a severe opinion on my part? Read 2 Timothy 3:14, 15. We have less and less in common as I continue to find conveniently timely counsel at the right time for it among Jehovah's earthly organization.
  
  Just remember the "reality check" your associates on here (such as ......) are due to receive, and consider carefully whether this same fate awaits you. I sincerely hope that you come to your senses; you know exactly what I mean by that. Until that time, please respect my wishes and do not contact me again. You'll be ignored.

  Well you can't condem what you dont understand, and where do you find reason to trust Jehovahs Holy Spirit? Is this Xfriend of the anointed? The focus is all wrong, again its the FDS, borg, WT...and not what 2 Timothy 3:14, 15 says,

  I told my mom I didn't believe my baptism was valid and she agrees

  i think that because i never made a formal prayer like they say your supposed to before getting baptized.

  i never said yes to the questions they asked at the convention before i got dipped.

  i just went through the motions.

  If your heart is right for dedication, then the other borg details mean nothing, after all its not the borg that will "save" you. Baptizm, if done for the purpose of dedicating ones life to GOD, is valide no matter what religion its done in.

  Is water baptism required to get your sins forgive by the JW society?

  i know many catholics and other religion say and make water baptism a requiremenet to get saved and get your sins forgiven, but how does the society see water baptism?.

  do they also baptized in three name or just only in jehovah name when baptizing a jw?.

  is only the elders allowed to get baptized or anybody can get wet?.

  Baptism has a much heavier commetment, it is a covenant relationship with Jehovah, through Christ, guided by holy spirit. I see nothing of a GOD excepted organization.

  , it is a symbol indicating that the individual being immersed in water has made an unconditional dedication to Jehovah God through Jesus Christ.

  Matt 28:18

  some doubted. 18 And Jesus approached and spoke to them, saying: "All authority has been given me in heaven and on the earth. 19 Go therefore and make disciples of people of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the holy spirit, 20 teaching them to observe all the things I have commanded YOU.   Not to be morbid but are you waiting for someone to die?

  the only reason i have not da'd is because my mom asked me not to.

  i fully expect her funeral to be the last time i set foot in a kingdom hall (assuming i can't manage to convince enough of the family to do a secular funeral).

  i will thereafter become an active and aggressive member of the "vast apostate army.".

  Man does that bring back painful memories. Raised third generation by my mother, married the best woman in the world, loved her with all my heart, she was a pioneer till financial reality set in. My life was dedicated to the "truth". went to prison, childhood included beats from persectutors as well as my mother. When she died the chains of slavery to the borg fell away and the greatest fears set in, that I would lose my soul mate, the mother of my children, I went crazy with that fear, nothing was normal in my life, as if it were before her death. Our family fragmented and our children wanted nothing to do with the "truth" and we went the way of the world for awhile. My loves "conscience" got the best of her and she wanted to gather her chicks back to the fold. the stress of knowing that would never happen caused her an early death. The part of me that could love to the depths we shared died with her.

  My dad was an unbeliever, and I was taught to pray for his death, so he would be resurrected, he lived a good long life, had a heart attack at 83. So I guess my answer to the morid question is "I'm waiting for my own".

  Most-Ignored Scriptures by JWs

  the watchtower has been known for over 130 years as a great scriptural cherry-picker.

  they pick out disparate unrelated verses and combine them to support the wackiest of wacky doctrines.. on the other hand there are many scriptures they almost never address, whether because they contradict wt doctrine or because they simply don't have a clue what they mean or how to spin them to the wt advantage.. one of these is revelation 19:1 that mentions a "great crowd" "in heaven.

  " the only time it is ever brought up it is dismissed.

  dont completicate it...the Bible NEVER says "THE great crowd", identifing one crowd, its always A great crowd. "THE" is the borgs word.

  Well, I made love to my wife in a camper in the parking lot at an assembly, during the Sunday talk. Raced my 65 Impala over 180 mph..Chp intercepters, I won, but still had to go on the carpet with the elders. Shot pool for beers, another visit to elders. Talked to the shunned, studied with drug dealers. Loved to shoot guns, they hated that.

  Well lets see; your conclusions are as founded as the GB, but what is the real secret? What identifies the faithful slave...feeding the sheep, protecting them. Jehovah's flock, congregation has been misled and feed rancid spiritual food, thus identifing them as not being the faithful slave. Could it be that when the breakup of the organization occured the faithful slave left and the disobediant slave maintained control of the organization?

  " john 13:35. question: is there any religion out there of which all people in the world looks at and says, "wow, that religion clearly follows jesus because of the love they have among themselves?".

  the jws claim this distinction for themselves, but what part of "all will know" is unambiguous?

  What happened to the "great crowd" ???

  i noticed the complete abscence of any reference to the great crowd in recent watchtower magazines.. the latest jan 15 2010 wt now calls the "other sheep" rank and file witnesses the ......"growing crowd" i think you'll find that on the last page of that wt.

  has the interpretation of the "great crowd" changed again?

  it seems the anointed class has now stolen both the titles "generation" and "great crowd" any thoughts on this?.

  The "great crowd" are said to come out of the great tribulation and therefore they are simply the population that survives Armageddon. Larsinger58

  Your are right on, the great crowd does not exist, untill after the GT, so the use of that term now is totally incorrect and miss leading, used only to give a false place of safety for converts.

  Would love to see you source for the idea that the 144K is 1/10th of the bride class.
