Funny how they think that their being JWs gives them some "special status" as regards morals. I know a JW who had his own business and was being investigated for tax fraud ... he came out with the usual "...but I'm a Jehovah's Witness..." thing and was met with the response "...and I'm a Catholic!"

Haven't got mine yet, but there's still three more post days till Christmas (including today) so I could still get lucky.
By the way, still don't know to this day if the person I sent a gift to last year has received it.

the radiologist affirmed it was glioblastoma.
--glioblastoma is the brain cancer tumor that they diagnosed for my mother last friday from her mri results.

Glad to hear that your mum's condition is not what it appeared to be. However, with MS, your mother should begin treatment as soon as possible. I was diagnosed with MS 12 years ago although we have since discovered that I've probabaly had it since as young as age 11. I started interferon injection treatment about 10 months ago. If you live in the UK, you should find out about how easy/difficult it will be for your mother to have access to this treatment and also how does her prognosis differ from more commonly encountered forms of MS. Also, healthy living and diet have a huge impact on MS. If you want any more info or just talk, PM me.

i was lucky to have been brought up in the troof, because if i hadnt, i wouldnt have known about the demons and how they are always looking for opportunities to lead us astray by appearing as ghosties, or by making household objects float, or by getting into our house through items bought from car boot sales.. my first memories of the deemunz was quite early, say aged 5 or 6. i used to think they were at the end of the bed, and so i had to sleep with my legs curled up as tightly as possible, so they wouldnt get my toes.
i cant even begin to think what terrible things they were going to do with my piggies, but sure as the apostles i wasnt going to give them a chance.. aged 7 or 8 i knew the deemunz were after me, because i was special.

Don't worry too much about your step-son's bed-wetting. The experience I've had with my son, is that the more you make out of it, the worse things get. My son was wetting the bed quite regularly up until last year (age 8 1/2). We eventually resorted to asking him to use "Pampers Dry Nites", not to make him ashamed, but because it was becoming very tiring for me (I have a serious illness myself) to be getting up in the night to change sheets etc. He's a great wee lad and understood very well. However, I always left him the choice of using them or not and if there ever was an accident, he would help me with the bedding. Gradually, things got better and he would wake up completely dry 9 times out of 10. Then, last summer he went on his first holiday camp. I packed him the right number of "dry nites" in an inconspicuous supermarket carrier bag and told him to decide for himself when and if he wanted to use them. Lo and behold, when we went to pick him up the next week, he hadn't used any of them and there hadn't been any accidents.
He does still have the odd accident, but it's usually linked to something at school. You wouldn't think so, but he's quite an anxious little boy who doesn't readily express what he's feeling, so like I said, patience and kindness is the key ... in my book anyway. That and helping him to feel capable and responsible.
